Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

Hi bros , whats is valving actually? Other than changin fork oil and seals. We still need to change the springs as well over the years of usage?

Sorie for borrowin TS thread . . . But i've got sumtin to share with fellow forumers here:

lately i send my bike to hkl for servicing, the so call tao chew/ohlins expert said that my stock suspension is soft, no rebound feelin so he told me change to ohlins shocks & he can custom it accordingly to my bike height & rider's weight blah blah blah... he say stock suspension cost 1.1k ohlins 1.7+k so might as well take ohlins since he would be able to service it for me next time if need to change suspension oil or top-up nitrogen gas. Guys u tink it advisable to go ahead with his advice? wat are ur views?

one man's meat maybe another one's poison.

For ohlins, i've been suggested by old timers to send to authorized agents like sporting n hkl.

Hi all, I went to Bikelab today to have my FZ6 07 to have my suspensions checked. The front left fork was leaking oil.

The ride has been serving me for the past 3 years and its bout time it start to complain. The service was great, especially when the Mechanic took time to talk me through the entire process, explaining which component is for rebound, erm, springs, how the springs worked and the list goes on.

Ultimately, I think he did a great job to my suspensions, at least he did all the changes and stop the leaking. Im not a sensitive rider, so I can't really tell the difference between the setup and settings he has done for me.

HOWEVER, he did not stain my bike's grip. I hate it when mechanics touch my handle grips with oily and dirty hands, sorry, no punts intended. Its just me, I think a mechanic should be professional enough to not further dirty my bike "laughs".

I'll definitely be heading back to Bikelab for more servicing or perhaps, who knows, more upgrades on my suspenions.

PS: I thought the entire servicing of forks gonna cost me a bomb. Hell it didn't =D

I might be Left Handed, But I'm Always RIGHT

DIY list

1. Volt Meter

2. Air Box Mod

3. Electric Horn

4. Dual Head Light

5. Removing of Mid Pipe's Cat
