Quality tools - Where to buy?

I'm looking to buy a torque wrench, around 50Nm-120Nm and also a socket set (3/8 or 1/2 drive) with ratchet.

 

Can anyone recommend any good tool shops to check out? I'm not looking for Snap-On (very expensive) but something that is quality and will not break after a few uses!

You can try Alltools Trading at Lavender. They carry tools from Taiwan and i would say their quality is quite good. I personally owned a few of their product range...

Head Office in UBI, is a Hardware supermart, like gg to supermarket but selling only hardware.

With full range of tools & equipment, from China(Cheap cheap) to Germany(Professional).

I get most of my DIY tools there. If not found on the shelf can order.

Just an update. I bought some tools from Alltools, nice service, gave decent discount and the shop had loads of stock.

 

Its a few shops away from Motoworld.

Torque wrench requires annual calibration. You should buy one with the local facilities to calibrate. Otherwise buy a disposable one like King Tony. With a specs like 20Nm ~ 210Nm, It is below $100.

I personally own a torque wrench which purchased at one of the hardware opposite ah boy. I am regular customer there. personally when i 1st started to looks and survey tools around at hardware store, they have the most extreme service there. why i say that was cuz for DIY-er like us, price is always a concern, mayb not all but to me,Yes. i went in for a few time but did not buy anything but yet thet r still giving me a vv good serviece and provide mi with the product knowledge. therefore, i always buy my tools there although i stay at woodland. dun mind travelling all the way there.
