Lets discuss everything bout the spore national team!!

 

For a start spore will vs burnley fc on 24th july 2010 at JBS.

 

I would be going, think of bringing my vuvuzelas too.

imho sg national team are an over-rated bunch..

Yeah but try to look at the cubs, u15 for the yog. Theyve shown good result lately prior to YOG. even beat MJC if not wrong.

Not sure if i'll be going for that match but i will love to see the likes of Chris Eagles, Andre Bikey, Ross Wallace, Jay Rodriguez and Steven Thompson. Even though Burnley were recently relegated, i don't think their football was that bad. Hopefully this will be a good match to watch

Ive seen burnley played Gombak utd and Home utd, their football is good. eagles was fast and lotsa trickery.

Chris Eagles netted the winner from a freekick just outside the penalty box. I was there at the JBS as well. Both sides created some opportunities but failed to capitalise on it. Fazrul Nawaz even squandered a golden chance in the dying minutes to equalise for Singapore.

 

And Vuvuzelas was allowed!! Peeeeeeeeetttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!

Haha, i was there too.. Frm wat i see.. Spore soccer future looks bright, the u18 particularly.. Man was they good in every department..

 

The u23 played well the whole game,give them more exposure like these and im sure reaching the asian level is just a matter of time.. Now focus on asian games and asean cup! i didnt quite like mazrezwan and shahril returning back to national squad.. They didnt play that well..

 

And yeah fazrul nawaz.. Can only miss and not score. Spore had a goal disallowed for offside..

 

And yeah vuvuzelas are allowed.. LOL... I thought of bringing mine but scared could not bring in..

I was mostly impressed by the Singapore No.5 centre back. Very solid and has a good tackling. The No.2 player did catch my attention as well. Sorry as i don't know their names. Haha. And the Singapore supporters at the unsheltered gallery kept disturbing Eagles! Eagles! Hahaha. But he's a friendly chap.

Well i cant compare the msian cup days and now.. Most old people say msian cup squad the best.. But since 2000.. This bunch of locals are the best.. Take note that u23 all locals when burnley fc vs singapore
