Bro! Deanonly n triumsg, how abt next trip to terenganu or penang? Has not been to penang for a long time. T trip to fraser's hill was awesome with great food n scenery. T impt thing is cheap n good food where u cannot find it in spore.

Oh Msia was fun ESP at nite with the chilly air & road my iron horse to max the capability ! But there is a limit to how much a phantom can fly... It is satisfying enough with it faithfully bringing me to Fraser n back without prob. 300 curvy turns it has negotiated. I miss the nasi goreng kampung consumed at high altitude !! Gotta find my camera to post , photo! Hope that it did not decide to stay at Fraser for me collect next year...!! Want to thanks all the super bikes who has provided lead marshall, front scout recce, vanguard protection & flank patrol for the sole phantom to conquer to Fraser! Malacca next....!

There is a Dawn Patrol up north on National Day led by a Can Am Spyder. They will explore a new highway, do the usual petrol and food raiding ops, and be back by 12 noon. Departure time is 5.30am from Asia Pacific Breweries.

lol nice, btw you are now our official 'tame racing driver'. Never knew stock Phantoms can exceed 140kph without special preparation other than carb enrichment.

Chan CC... Wow it takes a while to register you. You ate the one with the Phantom right? Hats off to you man. I think you are the only Singapore with the Phantom that rode up there. You have guts!! Btw any idea when the next trip is going to be?

Just a few suggestions - since we have been to the mountains ... how about other places?

 

How about a nice beach? Or, how about a tamer ride to a city centre like Malacca?

 

Somehow, I still like the mountains and wd like to explore Gunong Ledang further .. lot of history and mysticism about it ...

Bro Raz - you remember Umbai at Malacca? Were u there for seafood with us? This sounds interesting:-

 

Pulau Besar is just 10 minutes by boat from Umbai, where travellers stop to savour its famous grilled fish before boarding boats for the island.

The island also boasts a resort, the Putera Island Resort.

 

Lots of historical stuff there at Pulau Besar too ...

Our grp has been to malacca a few times .. Umbai is about 20 min slow ride from malacca town .. its a seaside fishing village.

We eat at Gerai No. 5 .. i still have the guy's card ...

 

This time, perhaps we stay on the island? 2 days 1 night sounds good ... since the Phantom did Fraser's Hill, this time i will ride my Vespa!!

As this is my first time leading a convoy of 7-8 bikes up north, and with most of them being first timer going into Msia, unfortunately I cannot accommodate anymore additional riders at this time. Sorry about that.

Bro triumpsg, island would be something different. Will you be doing any trips the next month. I agree, if a phantom can travel up, why not Vespa? Also, I see that there are a lot of local rides, is it with you as well.
