Hi,

 

I am looking for a CBR1000. Have not decided between an 08' model, or earlier one. I will be keeping my options open and hence would welcome all advice and suggestions of bikes that you know of.

dun get any earlier models like 2004 to 2007.

they have stator coil fault design....many have burnt.

honda give seven yrs warranty on coil, ie. from bike is new.

after seven yrs old bike, u have to pay from ur own pocket.

do u want to get road sided at anytime??

I believe they would have resolved the issues bah.. if they dare to give u 7 years warranty that is.. dun think they wanna be spending money to replace a coil for u every time.

08 CBR are much compact and shorter in length... tried the model in the show room dry weight is extremely light.

Plus the usual goodies? HESD, Unit Pro link not sure if it comes with DSFI like CBR6RR. But I miss the center up exhaust design... its "Repsol" and "HRC" edition still rocks!

Yep it does come with a dsfi.

Although it is in japanese , you could probably enjoy the advertisement and make out roughly wad they saying lol
