I met this uy who can make a exactcopy of a hugger for les than $100. He just needs a model. How about that? think the material will also be some sort of plastic. If someone already ha the huger then that can save a lot of money.

hmm... to me i think that the quality of the hugger is somehow important.

bcos during high speed the vibrations of the plastic/fibre will indeed causes unknown effects.

anyone check out the 2006 VFR yet? pics are out :cheeky:

yup.. on the net for a while. No change in performance except cosmetics like rpm faceplate, signal covers to clear, brake cyclinder n bar ends to satin matt, pipes to satin matt.

A real turn down of no new VFR. PPl in Europe are furious man :giddy:

For those who is interested on the NWS huggers. The news is that my bro wont be going to UK for awhile and not sure when. Can be next week or till end of the year. He will update me when he does fly there. So here is the situation, we got 4 person (including myself) interested in the huggers. If we order now, its about ₤55 for shipping for 4 hugger to SG. So it comes to estimate $270++ (hugger price publish on website is more that what they quote me). Not worth it. We can wait for my bro or go ahead with the order. Last resort order from biketech21 for powerbronze hugger, they quote me $190-$220. I will check with NWS for the exact quote. So what's the call?

So how about pyramid huggers? Found a site that offers much cheaper alternative but I know their huggers are not bolted instead is zip tied. Also they do not carry red ones. Only silver, carbon look and black.

Well according to this guy's website, he agrees with yours sentiment, but suggest pyramid is a good choice. So guys, anyone up for pyramid huggers?

Personal opinions is... prob try to take a look, feel & note how it mounts. Maybe based on these 3, you can make a choise n preference. (Not to mention cost!!:giddy: )

Koma and me are happy man after fixing it.

I personally like coz

1. the shape look uniq

2. Easy mounting yet firm. So far no loosness or dropout at stupid speeds

3. it comes in RED!

Only bad pts i find

1. Will kanah exhaust if you use Laser(coz header starts from 1->2, thus touching is on the right side if shock compresses hard) Not sure about staintune or 2 bros.

2. hard to clean with pannier mounts

So it seems everyone wants NWS. How about u, rick? But fyi, the pryamid huggers are at 10% discount if buy 2 or more and about S$60 shipping(no limits to no of huggers and dont come in red.)

Inzagih, what do u mean,my vfr comes with a harzard light switch?dont know got to check.

Btw guys, if you need Honda parts, I highly recommend Eversuccess at lembu rd near mustafa. Got side mirrors for a friend who riding VTR SP1(has same mirror as VFR)cost $65 per piece (was told it cost ard $85), bought 2 blank hiss keys at $23 prt piece(cheaper than FJT, $25), they also sell K&N and other stuff. Can bargain some more but recommend to email them and get a quote.

2 year old ranges from 16~18K with panniers. Thats ABS version. Just reduce about 1.5~1.8 for non ABS. By the way, this is the actual market. Try the shop..tink we get peanuts man.
