2 year old ranges from 16~18K with panniers. Thats ABS version. Just reduce about 1.5~1.8 for non ABS. By the way, this is the actual market. Try the shop..tink we get peanuts man.

Yeap.. got mine at 18k 2year old(exactly) abs with panniers,k&n,double-bubble screen and scotoiler,3 mth old bt014 and previous owner 6mth renew rd tax. good condition as previous owner really take care of the bike. Still running original chain, sprocket due to the oiler.

Actually the chain can last easily to 60,000km even w/o scott oiler. All it takes is regular check of chain and apply ONLY when needed.

So it seems everyone wants NWS. How about u, rick? But fyi, the pryamid huggers are at 10% discount if buy 2 or more and about S$60 shipping(no limits to no of huggers and dont come in red.)

Inzagih, what do u mean,my vfr comes with a harzard light switch?dont know got to check.

Btw guys, if you need Honda parts, I highly recommend Eversuccess at lembu rd near mustafa. Got side mirrors for a friend who riding VTR SP1(has same mirror as VFR)cost $65 per piece (was told it cost ard $85), bought 2 blank hiss keys at $23 prt piece(cheaper than FJT, $25), they also sell K&N and other stuff. Can bargain some more but recommend to email them and get a quote.

I am quite keen on the hugger too so can add me in the other. Can finalize some other time.

Just got back from Koh samui. smooth and great ride. No problem except for a screw that holds the side stand. It came off on the NSH and had to replace it in HatYai.

I recently installed the ohlins shock on the rear. It makes a big diff cos it makes the ride very smooth

Not really. there is always a maximum extent to how 2 parts can be lubricated to prevent failure. The chain will still be stretched upon throttling. You cannot stop longditudual forces.

I was on an oiler with another bike. Sibei shiok....I would say the oiler is great in maintainence free. .. no need to bother much, but the vol rate must be correct. but 1 thing i dunt like is the mess on the rear tire compared to a good chain lube. Liq oil will definitely fling more. Now the oiler is spoilt.. i got myself to check every 3 days by checking the lube condition of the chain. Its a bit lecheh though. But kinda used to it liaos..

LOL, if like this, chain makers will surely go bankrupt.

FYI my original chain last me 38,000km.

I am a firm believer of scott oiler.

It keeps my chain lubricated with the wet look and the golden shine without much maintenance.

I think this question is answered in this thread a long time ago but here is a summary of it. Here goes

1. what is the FC like? full tank how many KMs? how many litres and reserve hw many litres?

Full tank - 22liter and distance 300km+- depending on your riding style

2. is there any underseat storage conpartment?

Minimal - get the panniers topbox or H&B sidebox

3. otr price for 1st and 2nd

OTR I check with bike production a few mths ago about $23K (2nd party ins) for 1st hand.. 2nd depend on which yr and model (vtec or older model)ranging from $18k for a 2yr

4. insurance for 20 year old..

Got mine at $600+ with NTUC for 2nd party with the 10% discount they were offering then. for 20yr old guess around $1k but can always call NTUC for quote or other ins co.

Hope that helps.

yesh.. was the piece that M-technik brought to be approved and they didn't ring anymore that time coz not many ppl buy VFR exhaust then. (But I was already asking then back in year 2003.. wahaha..So luckily i got it w/o waiting for shipment.

Yup fixed myself. i dunt like ppl to touch my girl. its a personal thingy to me... no offence to any mechanics.

I can show you the dyno when i get it scanned.. but not so soon as i have a long trip from fri

If you want big performance, sli-on is not a value for $$ thing to do. Main reason is also because of the cat converter before your slip on.

I went not for the performance gain, but for the "audio & visual effect"
