@fredee after next sat. Cos insurance not settled yet. But, I tested it yesterday. Throttle much more sensitive.

how much are u charged for insurance?

Posted

@faizal sort of. But its not as high.

@arae I'm not too sure. Going this sat to settle insurance. But my dad asked for me, 1kplus for sp. For this bike i dont know. They look at your age.

Yes, true! For our age category and 'P' plate, insurance is always higher than 1K or close to 1K for sport's bikes. But I am not too sure about Yamaha TW200. What I find unique about this bike is its large tires! It is quite massive for a Class 2B bike. Anyways, cool ride to be! Enjoy yourself and be safe okay!

go for FC bikes if possible....

FC Bikes meaning fuel consumption bikes? From what I know, scramblers & sport's bikes are not that good at fuel consumption as scramblers have very good acceleration & pick up and sport's bikes have very good top speed. In my opinion, I think the best ever fuel consumption bike ever on earth so far would be Bajaj Pulsar 200.

Hi All, managed to pass Prac Lesson 4 last Saturday. Also booked for RTT. KNN, earliest date is early Oct, heng is Sat else burn leave on CDC again.

I will be going for lots of Circuit Revisions since my RTT is 1 month away plus I am quite weak in Figure 8. The rest is not so bad, just that their test criteria will deduct points for many other minor stuff which you cannot go above 10 points.

DRT can only book after RTT is it? The waiting time drags your course duration, else it's actually possible to see 2B license by 2010 one.

sorry but i dont agree with pulsar...

once at high speed...

the pulsar cant maintain the FC.

anyway... for 2b bikes...

anything below 25km per liter FC imho... is lousy.

but dont talk about 2 stroke offroad scrams and sport bikes.

@jack_chen yup. After rtt, immediately book DRT. Because long waiting time also. And make sure you go at the right time. Quite a few people came on the wrong day/time, burn. Have to come another day just to get one chop. I took 6 CR and 3 attempts for prac 5. XD Mostly points come from blindspot. Try not to get immediate failure.

@huairen It all depends on how you ride actually. Even if your bike FC is super good, but you keep dragging gears or going high speed of course your fuel consumption higher. Right? ahha

you are right :thumb:... and wrong :p.

hahahaha

right - yes... really depends on your riding and throttle habits.

wrong - my scooter... no matter how heavy i whack the throttle... or always go high speed... my FC still remains the same at 30-31km per litre :cheeky:
