I think it's not that difficult to pass 2a as compared to 2B, just go for more practices.

 

Wow ... This is a real encouraging note. I am also like SyntheticDisorder... passed my 2B in May 2009 with CDC (passed 1st time, very heng and lucky - cos I always not good at the crank course and plank).

 

Passed for 1 year but never rode on the roads, occassionaly rented when I holiday in Bali and Phuket on those auto twist and go bike/scooter. I am still driving car... And now I am thinking I should upgrade to 2A and then seriously buy a bike.

 

But I have no freaking clue on whether it is easy for 2A classes and HOW MANY CLASSES?

 

So I appreciate if some one can tell me - and also if there is anyone reading this thread doing at CDC now and when is the next TP test date?

just cleared 2al3, whats the diff between revision and retraining, which one to book before going for tp? and cannot book tp if have not go for theory right? wanna ask just now but admin counter close already..

Revision is the practice lesson before TP test, retraining is compulsory lesson before u book your next TP test if u failed. U need to go for the theory lesson before u can book for your first TP test.

Passed my Class 2A on the first attempt on 15/2/11 morning after the long long wait since end Nov 2010. Good bye to CDC, I won't go back again cos the waiting time for TP test is really too long. Total damages is about $240.

Hi Seniors,

Very happy to be able to take class 2A since my last year of passing on class 2B 25th March 2010. haha

Just took my 1st lesson on last Friday although passed...

 

But i feel to have some problems with pylon....We were told to use gear 2. However i felt that if going too slow, engine felt like stalling. However, gonig too fast will strike pylon (I already strike 2 times both on the last cone) Last 2 i managed to cleared it though

 

Going for lesson 2 on this coming Wednesday...i can sense i will have problems with crank and figure 8 judging on how i faired on pylon.

 

The feeling of riding my SP then switching to the 250cc yamaha bike...great difference. totally not used to it!!

 

Hope to have some tips from the seniors here for lesson 1 and 2

nsr150 should have similar power and weight as compared to ybr250...

 

I guess... just go for a few more lessons/revisions you should be comfortable with the bigger ybr in no time :smile:

Seriously i'm more afraid of pylon - reason is the back crash bar is big and often hits the cone...

 

Next one i guess will be bumby that i am afraid off.

 

For crank, i used 1/2 clutch all the way. I don't know if i will be penalised anot if caught.

yes the crash bars are huge, but should still be manageable will some practice...

 

not sure about the 1/2 clutch part for crank course though :sweat:

hi, i have almost passed my 2b for a yr and is considering whether to take 2a. but i have not ride bike ever since i passed. is it tough to pick up everything again? anyone who has done that before? can share ur experience? thanks
