I will be organising a over nite stay at Mersing / Rompin on the 16/17 July 2005 Will be staying overnight at SummerSet Resort. Off 2nd Link 200km plus. Ard 150km is trunk roads.

 

There will be only 6 ATV at 1 time and each ATV is at RM 125 ( evening 7pm to 8pm, see sunset ). Unless the others like to be as pillion... Ha

(Report)

 

0800hr 2nd Link Esso:

 

It was a Beautiful Sunrise… Riding over Shears Bridge.

Smooth ride thru Immigration & Only 1 bike was slightly late.

A few sms me to update me their position as they may not be on time.

(that’s good... )

 

Short Briefing & Off to Kulai for Breakfast …. 15 bikes.

 

0830hr 2nd Link – Kulai (40km)

 

The 2 Black Birds went ahead… with their darlings.

The rest rode in formation.

Met Traffic Police At Pasir Gudang Junction…

The was just setting up their spd trap. (we were below 110kmh)

 

0900hr Kulai

 

Breakfast. Freshly made Chee Chong Fun (char siew & prawns)

Won ton mee & Famous Tau Pau.

Instruction to all bikers… Don’t eat too much… Make u Sleepy lah.

Said goodbye to Paul & Gf…

 

1000hr Kulai – Kota TInggi (40km)

 

Convoy thru busy Kulai Town.

Route 94 was easy & free flowing.

Regroup at BP Kota Tinggi Town

OTOT ride up to Kota Tinggi Falls 16km

Last 8km was twisty & narrow. Exciting.

 

1100hr Kota Tinggi Falls

 

2 missing bikes when we reached the Falls.

One had a slid due high spd entry into one of the tight bends.

No injury due to Protective clothing.

Slight scratch on slide bars on bike.

 

Refreshing time @ the Falls.

Half the team went for the Chilling Waters.

Climb up & into the Falls… to mediate

 

Me… Just join a few sat next to the Falls

& enjoyed the Cool Mist on my body.

 

1230hr Falls – Kg. Sengat (46km)

 

Back OTOT to Kota Tinggi Town

Convoy to Sengat on Route 92

 

1300hr Sengat

 

Short stop at the Jetty.

Seafood Lunch at the Kg. Restaurant.

Threatening Dark Clouds as we were finishing lunch

A light shower followed.

 

1430hr Sengat – Desaru (36km)

 

Decides to ride even though the Dark Clouds remain.

Ride was Nice & Cool but Clouds Looks Angry.

Regroup at the Petrol Stn @ turn off to Desaru.

Had to wait for Earlybird as he stop put on his water proofs.

(That put off the rain clouds… thks Earlybird)

 

1530hr Desaru

 

Went for the ATV & Go Karts.

Interesting Machines & Dirt Tracks. Muddy though.

Wow! Look at Chi Yen Go!!!!

The Guys @ the Go Kart Circuit were fast.

Enjoying the Skidding all over the tracks…

Great display of control. Wow! Future F1 Drivers.

 

1730hr Desaru to JB Sentosa (88km)

 

Enjoyed the Lovely Golden Sunset on the route 92.

(wanted to capture the pic to share with all of U… Should have lah…)

A few bikes parted to go home thru route 94 Kulai – 2nd Link

Regroup @ BP stn before Sentosa, JB.

Coconut/ Air Tebu… Prawn Noodles @ Street Stalls

Immigration was a Breeze back to Spore.

Certain a Nice Ending to an Enjoyable Day Out.

“marking” the turn off.

And letting me know when the last bike has rode thru.

The last bikes Chi Yen & Early Bird for being so patient.

q1=yes, there aren't any improvements but it is still the same good bike.

 

q2=i still find stock stuff reliable. it'a japanese bike and the stuffs are of quite good and if not very good quality.

 

q3=as usual engine oil change 3k to 5k depending on riding style but use lessser than super 4 i guess. 4 spark plugs. oil filter replacement during every other oil change.

petrol consumption=similar to s4 and maybe lower.

 

basically maintenance wise is similar to a s4 and also mean very low maintenance and reliable bike. forza had been to phuket and back with his 250 along wiith 900s and blackbirds without any problems except feeling fatigue(which all of us did).

Eh u need the Sports Panniers Expandable or the 1st time ? Sports Panniers Expandable got Blue color. But i will need to indent in if u want. Will take 1-2 wks time if got stock.
