once i was fined $50 for putting a parking coupon on a coupon disc attached to my bike. am never gonna put anymore coupons. curse those wardens.

I have never bought or put parking coupons. The time spent to buy and tear the coupons is not worth it. It is much more convenient to pay an $8 fine once in a while at SAM or AXS. Over one and a half years of riding I got two fines = $16 which makes it very worthwhile. That is only 25 days of parking. But even if I was less lucky and it cost more I would still rather pay a bit more for the convenience.

I tink they have commission for giving out fines. some areas i see bikes never get tickets, whereas mostly cars get it first. I can say that in some yishun area, they wunt even bother to check bikes. My friend parked there 3months since he just got his class 2, he didnt even bought season parking and he didnt even get 1 ticket at his CP.

that depends. if that area u park in is 'hot', u will like kana every other day. if not then its a good idea!

yea sometimes i saw the white shirt auntie at 12AM. they are going to summon those bikes with coupon cos after 12 is counted as only season parker can park there. $25 summon

not commission, but quota. they have to hand out certain num of fine to prove they really work n not eat snake. i noticed some CP attandant dont check bikes, n i'm not sure why also.

How did this happen? I thought we're SUPPOSED to put parking coupons in the coupon discs?!

If its not too troublesome, get a bike cover and close up your bike. The wardens cannot be bothered to open and check for your coupon. In the end, your bike cover pays for itself by virtue of coupon cost or fines saved.
