Plate number size

Is it legal to make plate number size to small rectangle and put it at the back?

there is a standard size. other sizes and shapes are illegal.

i almost failed my inspection because my number plate was smaller than original size, i didn't know because when i bought it, it was already at that size. Lucky the guy just warn me, he ask me to straightaway change if not can kena summon. Its better to stay at original size.
