haiz... today i pass by a bike shop at around boon keng mrt there.. then went in and see see look look... stay there for 10mins and the uncle don't even bother me... when i am almost going off... then he came to me and say... what bike you want to buy... then i say: oh... i look around first. thanks... then the uncle told me: oh... take your time lor... and by the way hor, bike that is less than 2k... we don't do personal reloan hor... just to let you know first la... so... you got your license liao ma... bleh bleh bleh... wa lao... look down on gals...

hey guys... by the way... can i know how many Km can be travelled within a litre... and i got some info from other member that wave need to be refill for every 100km travelled.. is that true? By the way, saw someone saying that he tried out wave but the gear shifting is kind of uncomfortable... true or not ar?

 

oh... by the way... how can one control the bike when bike kana nail... will lose control easily?

for wave generalli 45-60km for a litre.. mine average 47km per litre even though i always full throttle , maybe wave110 more fuel saving? normaly refuel at around 150km..100 is too little. the gear shifting is quite easy, step,release and throttle, maybe those who are used to clutch may find it uncomfortable, take abit of time to get use ..

 

oh, if its front kena nail, then try to swerve back the bike and reduce the speed by using rear brake. if its the rear kena, swerve in the direction of the skid.. the golden rule is; don panic, keep hand steady.. reduce the speed..

When you tyre kena nail. you will feel your rear (if you rear kena) keep moving left right.. very unstable.. I just kena few weeks ago, lucky I met mobile mechanic.. pay him $15.. save the towing charges... :smile:

 

As for gear shifting, you will get use to it when you ride for 1-2 days...

You will start to love it especially during traffic jam hehe

Hmmm... in that case... is it very uncontrollable or still can be control one? Cannot use front brake ma? i saw from other forum saying that changing to sport rim and tubeless tire can help reduce the sudden output of the air when kana nail but yet some say doesn't make much difference... some say... if change sport rim... very hard to change the tire next time... cause have to don't know dig or what leh... sounds so complicated ... thanks folks!

you reply saying that nope... wave is considerable less problematic as compare to other bikes... but what does nope means?

hihi, im here!..oh the problem u mention is it about the CDi of the bike?? if its CDi, older bikes are more prone to CDi failure..well, most wave do not suffer this problem.. maybe bad luck.. ...

haha, wave is reali a gd bike, especially for beginner and girls, coz they are light and easy to handle, ask any motordiam and they will most recommend wave for everyday transport... unless itchy hand mod here mod there la.
