Where have the 'affordable' full face helmets gone?

they claim in another thread that new designs (presumably the ones i posted earlier) will arrive mid-december. thats when their stock probably gets a resup.

most prob i'm going MW on dis sat or some time soon. i can check with them by then.

why helmets are so expensive in Singapore? In China, it isn't. Like TANKED helmets T160, it is sold at most USD80.00 in China, while I saw it is sold USD350.00 in Singapore.

not fair to compare an unknown brand with its price in china. if you instead compare well-known brands with their corresponding price in america/europe, the %age difference is not that great.

I have a tanked helmet, bot in Macau. Thinking of taking it to MW for exchange if they still have their sale going on.

now that you mention it i notice its his first and only post, from shanghai according to him. and wat the heck is 'tanked'? i cant find any info on such a brand off the net at all.

i've posted some info in dis thread regarding brands & price of some affordable FF helmets. u can search backwards 1 or 2 pages. still, u need to try it out by wearing it and see if it fits u nicely. as i've posted earlier, pilot & GDR are cheap but they do not fit my head nicely so i cant wear them... ask around and take some time to go to a few places to try them on.

 

my HJC FG-15 & R-PHA10 fits my head very well but FG-15 have a louder wind noise. still, its good enuff using in sg as the highest speed limit is 90km/h and u wun experience a high wind noise volume. do some research as well on the internet for the FF u are going to buy. cheers

Not true, a fellow forumer is selling it at SGP$168 that is about US120..

Not true, a fellow forumer is selling it at SGP$168 that is about USD120.. Including shipping cost, I think its reasonable... I am writing this not because I know the forumer selling the helmet...

abit of wind noise is always normal as long as the air vent is open. even with all air vent close, a great helmet oso will experience a slight windnoise, dats acceptable. logically, if no windnoise at all, meaning no air come in at all, there we cant brethe le ma.

u cannot compare same items in different countries, my fren. its as good as asking ppl y a plate of economic rice(prawns, chicken & egg) cost only 20 thai baht (less than SGD$1) in thailand but it cost around SGD$3 in singapore AND it cost more than 100,000 krones (more than SGD$20 at my time of travel) in Norway?
