Was at Sabar Menanti II located at 747 North Bridge Rd ... just at Jalan Sultan area ... lovely nasi padang ... see the pic attached ... sotong was great ...

 

Any guys know other places with such good malay food? Love Malay food alto im not Malay ...

 

Fellow bikers please share ... and indicate address/food operating hrs if possible ...

Steps to do a proper KNNBCCB with middle finger.

 

1. Bow down slightly, looking intensely at objective

2. Like a raging bull, hop and jog slowly towards objective

3. Take your left palm and slap it hard on the right mid-arm with a SLAP!

4. With charisma, raise right arm, whilst showing middle finger (with left palm trapped in bend right arm)

then i think you will love hajjah maimunah, located at 20 Joo Chiat Road and 11 & 15 Jalan Pisang.

 

joo chiat's branch to me tasted noticeably better than jln pisang branch. joo chiat's sambal goreng pengantin..... is not something i can stop munching after the first spoonful...

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

Nasi Padang - Warong M Nasir at Killiney Road Somerset. Got Nice ambience and jazz music all day long. Closes @ 9.30pm if i'm correct. Nice place to bring your date along, in Orchard area but quiet. Later can walk down for movie @ cineleisure somemore.

i would recommend pariaman... it is the best for lunch...

Pariaman .... yum yum ... my all time fav ... but ... closes far too early ... sometimes 12 noon some dishes alreadi gone ...

 

Hj Maimunah ... not too bad ... tried a few times ...

 

One thats cheap n good (but a little too hot/spicy for me) is the Nasi Bawean at Desker Road ... leading to Mustafa. Very reasonable prices n great for those who can take it PEDAS ... my entire scalp perspires!!

 

Any other good places?

close too early, i rarely go out for lunch.. should try some day..
