Electrical and comm engg? WAHS... very diff from accountancy hor? Lol... cool cool. Hmmm, im still new to the Poly t uni route. I roughly know that i'll need a 3.6-3.9 t enter NUS biz sch (Checked their website the other time..)

But is it rly competitive t enter Uni's Via e poly route? For your case, was ur GPA sky high duing ur poly days?

Woohooo!

Went fishing at Bedok Jetty yesterday...

Fished for tambans in the day... caught about 8 or so... din wanna catch too many tambans t prevent wastage...

I noticed that the tamban size are getting smaller n smaller... the 8 i caught was smaller den my index finger.. sighs.. but its good size for baiting la..

Yup... so i carried on fishing... but whole day no bite at all... i wanted to pack up and leave at 9pm for dinner...

den suddenly ard 8.50pm or so, there was a rather small nibble at the other end of the rod... So i quickly removed my bell and hold onto my rod, hoping to strike...

then there was this sudden strong jerk... Lol, i was delighted! so i started to fight with whatever it was... cld't feel much at first, cause it was swimming towards me.. but somewhere in the middle, it started to "fight" with me... thats when i feel smth strange... the way its fighting back does not feel like any fish ive encountered... so i suspected it was a stingray!

Wahs... the thought of landing a stingray totally got me excited as i nv caught one before...

So it was a series of tightening drag, releasing drag... cause i used a really old "ready made" apollo rig and was afraid it'll burst or smth...

And i finally landed the ray! :thumb:

excellent fight i must say... compared to the other fishes i've caught before...

Not very big size tho... abt 27cm in length... tail SUPER long tho... :cheeky:

But i din practise CnR tho... i only practise CnR in freshwaters...

Lol, Sry for long post, but im just excited abt landing my first stingray!

Happy fishing bros... and lets conserve tambans! catch only what u need!

:)

fishing is awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

only after the last tree has been cut down, only after the last river has been poisoned, only after the last fish has been caught, only then will you realize that money cannot be eaten.
