1987-1989: Yamaha RX-K, No car

1989-2004: Chrysler Sigma, Honda Civic, Honda Accord, Mazda 626, Daihatsu Feroza, No bike

2004-2006: Toyota Corolla, Aug-Dec 2005: Suzuki Bandit 400, Oct 2005-Mar 2006: Honda Steed VLX 400, Dec 2005-Nov 2006: Kawasaki ZZR 1100.

well, i live in jurong west... just got my 98 r1 few months bk.. last time riding 929... very different i would say.

 

and yes, mine is red and white, i spray myself, but standard not there, gd from far only...

 

and btw, wat is u guys mileage? i tried before 220, reserve till 300. And also 200, reserve till 270. so v. hard to calculate my mileage...

 

 

different in wat sense ? :)

anyway regarding the fuel milage i think its depends on how you ride... on singapore road... riding up to legal speed limit and keep the rpm below 5k will last you longer compare to you go malaysia open throttle.... :)

sg road i ride a lil bit above 120 all the way..

mileage 220-240 before reserve..

nshw 299 all the way..

150-160 before reserve.. :faint:

Talking about mileage, my bike just now hit 156km and went into reserve. I've just sent it for full servicing and valve clearance. However, my rationale would be that last Friday when I went to get the bike's TPS problem fixed, my mechanic whacked the throttle on neutral and cleared the carbon for me. Backfire could be seen coming out of the exhaust pipe. Haiz, looks like I have to top up petrol and check its mileage on full tank again... :sian:

hey buddy, mayb u should go tune up ur setting abit. i can clock 270km b4 reserve even when i haf exhaust system etc all tat accessories. but once u buka, i man go above certain spped or rpm, ur petrol usage will b a big different. example during normal riding speed in singapore, i can clock 250 - 270km, depends how i ride, but if u go malaysia n buka, son b surprise 2 c tat ur mileage bcum 160km b4 reserve. no jokes, tis is wat i experience now

 

hai... my bike always eat more petrol one... ever since my sp, fireblade, 929, r1, and now also my spark too... hai...

hmmm, how to say huh... R1 is rawer, much more... while my 929 is way more comfy... haha...
