hi guys,

it seems there is no street legal version of k7 600 for akrapovic. what they have in stores now are street legal versions meant for 06 or 750. when fitted, it looks just like the previous k versions... long! totally defeats the purpose of the motoGP exhaust system it's meant for!

i think even the micron GP exhaust only has for the 06. dunno wats the delay for k7 types... the only downside is the micron one has the cat converter testicle thingie there... is it a must to fix that cat converter?

i believe wat can fit in '06 600 can fit into '07 600..

correct me if i'm not wrong..

A catalytic converter is a device used to reduce the toxicity of emissions from an internal combustion engine. First widely introduced on series-production automobiles in the US market for the 1975 model year to comply with tightening EPA regulations on auto exhaust, catalytic converters are still most commonly used in motor vehicle exhaust systems.

its due to the strict EU emission laws la bro

Perhaps it is sneaking up on you :thumb: Bikes coming out of showrooms do not clutch slip with typical 10W40. Covering up with thicker oil works at arresting clutch slip, but you're in denial if you think your clutch is 100%. It a matter of time even 10W60 won't help the slip.

I didty know that new bike come with 10W40 EO but i do believe ppl wont use that EO for more than 800km , and like what you say i perfer thicker EO, and you generally perfer a thiner EO. And i am not covering up with thicker EO will arrest the clutch slip problem. Wear and tear on clutch plate will also casue clutch clip. But for our slipper clutch, it will just slip even if the clutch plate is not wore out cos our gixxer slipper clutch need to be adjust at every 6k-10k.

The thing you mention is about the clutch housing or basket, and you say it casue by whacking and wheelie, but for now it not happening to mi. i believe you know mi very well and how i whack my bike for the pass 2yr on my K5 and i generally believe i whack harder than you whack on your R6.

And generally i am using 10W50 or 15W50 all the time and only 2 time using 10W40 EO, which i feel that after 3k milage on the 10W40, the 10W40 EO break down, where by the 10W50 can last about 5k.

And for your info, i dun use ELF EO, i am using Fuchs or motorex now.either 15W50 or 10W50.

Other funny thing, met u on sat night, ask you about EO, no reply form u, and onyl tell mi that i am a expert. Come back forums post so many thing. LOL

Here's a random thought...

I think it's made me more aggressive when I get on the R1...

I feel that I've become someone...

And not only, but I've noticed that I feel hotter when I ride the R1. I feel blood circulating, my heart beats faster when the engine roars to lfie. I feel pumped up, as 'tho ready and alert to flick the throttle and go go go!!!

Does riding the R1 make you any better than the rest?

I think it does...

It somehow makes me feel special... that I think also explains why many R1 riders have attitudes or larger egos.

There are many reason why we ride an R1, and many stories have been told of the R1. Someone young (at heart), hot-blooded, dangerous maybe, (perhaps still a strapping bachelor), may fit the profile of an R1 rider. Afterall, we all go through thought processes before we got our first R1 or any other luxury item for that matter. Why do we need one? What difference does it make after we get an R1?

Packed in that metal body lies a powerful 998cc engine (at least mine's a 998cc), and a rider packed with loads of attitude that he even thinks a Lamborghini can't get in his way.
