ask HL to check b4 u change bah

I went to HL to get them to repair my bike. The mechanic there took a look at my bike and then asked where I serviced my bike before. I told him where and he told me to send it back to the same shop as the bike became problematic after servicing from there. Good thing that he suggested that. I went back to Tachyon Motors and now my bike is OK liao. Apparently, the bike settings were all haywired so my mechanic reset it all back to the correct ones.

My bike's horn was also muffled that while on the roads, cannot hear anything when I horn cos it was too soft. While adjusting the horn, he discovered that my fork was leaking so I had the forks serviced and the seals changed as well. So far, TPS problem has disappeared and now I'm just counting the mileage. Hopefully, the mileage will be back to normal. The fuel consumption was high last time cos the tuning was too rich...

Barrcuda link

The stock end can and stock catalytic converter is one piece. Thus when you changed to a slip on, the whole thing will be removed. Laser concept is the same as stock. It end can comes with it own box. But of course I doubt it will be as restricted as the stock. For barracuda, it end can looks the same as Laser however it does not comes with the box. It connected via a straight pipe to the mid pipe.

Thanx bro!

Any idea how much does a fullset of race fairings cost for the k7 750?

Hmm, very curious to see how the 2008 model will be looking like too! :cheeky:

reluctant as i am , but i have to say stoner was really the fastest man

on the track at laguna..

his lap times were like consistantly under 1min 23 secs while

every1 else were goin at mid 1min 23secs

seems like bridgestone had the advantage again also , top 3 all on

bridgestones :(

Rossi frustrated by tyre disadvantage

Valentino Rossi believes that fourth place was the maximum that he could achieve at Laguna Seca due to Bridgestone's advantage over Michelin in the US Grand Prix.

The Italian never featured in the battle at the front of the field, but he finished as the top Michelin runner as Bridgestone-shod bikes filled all three spots on the podium.

"This was the maximum that could be done," Rossi told Italia1. "I really had no grip from the start. Naturally we are very disappointed to race like this.

"It's very frustrating. We do our work to the end, but the difference in the tyres is embarrassing. They are in a different ballpark."

Rossi is now 44 points behind Casey Stoner in the riders' standings, and he admitted that he is not feeling confident at the moment.

"Unfortunately I wasted the good chance we had in Germany, but more than the 44 points I'm worried about the 30 seconds," he said. "Added to the 44 points, that makes me pessimistic as well."

Rossi added that he was not confident of making it to the end of the race, and he said that there was nothing more he could do to make the bike go faster.

"By riding well you can make up for the difference among bikes, but when you lose 30 seconds in 32 laps it's nine tenths per lap," he said.

"Stoner set some lap times that I wasn't able to beat even with the qualifying tyre, and there were three Bridgestone riders ahead of everyone.

"I tried to catch Melandri with 10 laps to go, but he was going twice as fast. In the spots where he would open the gas, we were still struggling to turn."

Yamaha team boss Davide Brivio added: "It's very simple - only Rossi and (Dani) Pedrosa, thanks to their talents, managed to stay a bit towards the front, while the others (on Michelins) were all having troubles."

Melandri to ride for Ducati in 2008

July 22nd 2007, 22:32 GMT

Ducati have announced that Marco Melandri will ride for their factory team in 2008 and 2009.

Melandri will join Casey Stoner at the team, as the Australian has also signed a deal for the next two years.

The Italian team made the announcement immediately after the US Grand Prix, where Stoner won for the team and Melandri made the podium on his Gresini Honda.

World championship leader Stoner also has an option for 2010 in his new deal, while his current teammate Loris Capirossi could ride a third works machine next year.

Ducati said in a statement: "Next week Loris Capirossi and his manager will meet with Ducati representatives to evaluate the possibility of preparing a third official bike for the Italian rider to use in the 2008 world championship."

Melandri has been critical of Honda this season, as the satellite Gresini team have not received a similar level of support to that of the works squad.
