kinwei kor kor,

sorry i dig this up from long long time ago..

i doing the 'normal' run in method..

changed mineral oil at 100km.. rev up to 12k

changed mineral oil at 800km.. rev up to 14k

now at the 1600km..

should i still change to mineral oil then rev up 16k?

or change fully then rev up 16k?

i see the manual.. i see the last cycle is 'above 1600km dun rev anything more than 16k'.. so i blur blur..

i was thinking changin to mineral oil.. rev up to 16k..

once reach 2000km then change to fully syn oil..

anybody?

mama i read the manual says

less then 800km below 8krpm

less then 1600km below 12krpm

less then 1600km below 16krpm

i whack the bike before the first 100km mineral oil change but rpm still below the stated figure in the manual.

To me, the reasons why during run in ppl use mineral instead of full/semi syn is because

1) More economical. Mineral oil break down faster than full/semi syn. But during run in you change your oil often (

2) Season your engine internal. Mineral oil do not have all those addictive added into it, etc ester. This addictive actually help to prolong the oil lifespan and decrease the wear rate of the engine. But since you are doing run in, of course u need a "rough" oil to season the internal right?

The only reason why you shouldn't use mineral oil for a prolong period is it will create slug inside the engine. Thus to my suggestion, just use the mineral oil till 2000km which is your preference. And the reason why the manual put dun rev beyond 16k rpm cause that is the red line mah. That means it telling you after 1600km, you can ride the full rpm range but dun go over the red line.

If u know something is not right, do u warn or inform others about that? maybe most singaporeans think that --aiya, mind yr own business la (u r one of them). Prehaps i belongs to the opposite side. I treat everyone as friends here, so i share with everyone my opinion. That is what forum is all about.

I never say "please think twice on the exhaust". i said " if given a choice to choose a exhaust, "I" will think twice." i supported with explaination, analysis, elaboration on why i feel that way because saw 3-4 people are selling gpr from time to time.

You play with words and change the tone & way of my sentences structure and make me sound rude. (dun XIAO REN la, yr method can work on others, not me.) after exposing yr changing of my words, now u look like an idoit. haha

And lastly, dun copy my "No offence, just my personal view". It is very clear u are mim-ing my sentences. Change my sentences, mimic my sentences. You sounded angry even though it was none of your business with my personal view.

Therefore, in conclusion,

I guess you must be friend of the gpr exhaust seller. :) haha (pretty obvious)

Im also using gpr exhaust too and im not playing with words is ur words im using... Down here who are the Xiao Ren by saying all this? So u are saying Gpr is not the right exhaust right? if u like to share your opinion PLS share it to yourself somemore is wat you feel.. have you use the exhaust before? or have you use all the other brand exhaust before? u are just saying how u feel this make you look more like an idiot. Down here are you the expert of exhaust? if not nobody will like to hear opinion, maybe you think that u are the explaination, analysis, elaboration pro but pro dun talk like this when they feel something is wrong they will test it with BLACK and White.

Therefore, in conclusion,

i dun guess, im sure you are those who talk big but dunno anything.

No war la. Just trying to clear things up.

If people change yr way of wording and flame you, you will do the same to clear up the misunderstanding.

Anyway, this thread is not a personal selling thread, it is k600 forum. It is a thread to discuss. Selling threads are in garage sales. Owning to that, chottoh_89 saying applies over there.

Over here, I give my opinion, he also wanna kp, I m just trying to give my piece of advise to inform people.

Dun u feel that he is "defending" his friend? obvious la.

No need to clear up your misunderstanding here la... This is a thread for those who really know something to give comment here (E.g Kinwei, WW, Edwin, Lass, Alvin and many more) but i dun really think you know a lot like them and many ppl riding K6/7 here... How long have you been riding this K7? I got one fren out there has been riding k6 and he dun really talk wat he feel here. Even WW, Kinwei and many more wouldn't talk wat they feel, they surely have the experience and then they give comment..Not feel.

guys.. what do think. is it spark plug or somethihng else?. my R1 was riding just fine the day before, no monkey business, just normal riding. but today the my bike won't start. totally. i don't know the real problem though, i've just serviced it last week... but not the plugs though.

Food For Thought

Bread pudding.

Single light cream is the type of cream most commonly used for cooking. However, this type of cream should not be boiled as it will curdle. Also, always add hot liquids to the cream rather than the cream to the liquids, in order to avoid curdling. Single(light) cream has an 18 percent fat content.
