hi..to all gixxer bros..like to share what i've encounter & need some help too..skidded my bike on the right side while negotiating a bend on the way to work this morning..:faint:

result aftermath..

1.swingarm slider/spool - broke the screw bracket(where slider/spool were fix to) from the swingarm..

2.frame slider - frame slider main bolt broke into 2 pieces(1 half in the slider/1 half still at the bike main body frame)

 

guys..need ur opinion on these issues..after what i've seen..i wonder wether the sliders which suppose to function as a protection to some parts of the bike..really does the work or in any case..can done more damage to the bike..??

 

bike to restore parts..(only right side)

1.main side fairing

2.tail side fairing

3.engine casing

4.pillion rearset

5.rider rearset

6.brake lever

guys..any infos that i able to get all the mention parts above..(prefer used parts) pls pm me..thanks..

Which brand of sliders may i ask??

 

Anyway, to get 2nd hand parts is quite hard as the bike is still new..

I guess the best is to approach HKL or perhaps get it from ebay..

Ok guys, wanna share wif u all. my batt today over charge right after doing dyno run up to 17v. mech told me was the rectifier. true enuff coz ive read the function of rectifier and the possiblity is due to bike overheat or high rpm. coz initially the bike was ok when i rode to HKL. so truly suzuki rectifier has a major problem of current restrictor causing over charging....

 

lucky me, thanks to the voltmeter i bought from paiseh, if not batt over charge then bloated, kick the reverse current back to the coil and it gets burnt!!

 

But special thanks to Mr BlackDot for asking us to fix the voltmeter and to mr who too for sharing dis info, saves me few hundreds dollar. will update u the cost from agent and if possible will take pic of installlion procedure so u all can DIY.

 

So wat the heck u all are waiting for??!!! fix dat damn bloody voltmeter!!! hahahaaa die die must fix...no petrol fix voltmeter priority!!! hahhaaa

yup yup...

to do that, wait at PIE leading towards AYE Tuas, before roundabout. u will see 1 k7 600 leading the pack pollowed by a few then the last usually CBR400. Just squeeze past them, blow at the leader. if ur blow louder then the leader (Mine is as no baffle mah) then u get to lead the pack.. Then u get to pick ur spoils.
