I tried Castrol chainwax before. A bit of staining on the rims but overall also not bad... :thumb:

HI all,

today when i turn on my bike, i cannot seem to hear the valve sensor rotating. It's supposed to sound like teeeet teeet teeet. Ok i know it's a very bad description but i dunno how to describe the sound.

Is my valve stuck or something? How do u know if your valve is giving u problems? :help:

what's ur total mileage like? Mine at 60,000km. My RPM sometimes jumps up and

down. Dunno whether need to do valve clearance or not?

For high speed big cc bikes like R1, the Chainwax with its excellent fling resistance is the better choice.

think u refer to manual would be better. but then again, for those who seldom abuse their bike won't need need to do valve clearance ( quoting normal case ) cause the valve specs should still be "well and healthy"

What say u

our valve supose to open at 4k RPM (unless u mod your engine or install full system) and u will feel the power coming.

If 4k RPM still like nothing then maybe your valve or valve sensor got problem already.

Another thing is if u did not open your valve as in go inside NSH for carbon clearing session, as in really fully open your valves over speed of 240km/h, chances of your valve not functioning in the long run could be high

What say u
