ur doin the damper mod for $25? wat oil u use??

 

are u using this method??

 

pull the little star head drain bolt......pump it a few times , the old oil will drain out. Then totally submerge the damper in the new oil in a pan and pump it a good 20-30 times. It will bleed all the air out. Then start the screw back in while submerged.

 

use fork oil or suspension oil stock is 10wt. so if u guys wan stiffer, 15wt

recommended, motul/maxima/fuchs etc

Hey anyone got R1 02/03 single seater to sell?

 

If I am not wrong, I saw 'Kingpet' wanting to sell the 1 seater previously ... u may try to PM him.

 

if the headlight crack on it's own due to material defect, it should be covered under warrantry.

 

Ouh ... Hopefully dats the case bro ... I'll go down to HL to check it out when I m free... My bike only 7 months old leh .. N I think there's no way to crack the projector lens with the external of the headlight being undamaged .. Definitely a case of material defect....

my headlight cracked too and only 1 month old.. luckily im still warranty cause HL very fuk up one... if ur mileage above 6k ur warranty void or if above 6 months.. i dunno if u still covered.. good luck

09 R1 has bigger bore than revious model....

bigger bore and shorter stroke mean more high rpm pull, worst low end.....

i think yamaha never hear our voice.....they still make a more race oriented bike ....i think 09 is more race friendly form bike...

choose the A mode for the R109 for street use...

 

thats what is indicted on the maual..

im sure whatever code/map u choose, a bigger bore and shorter stroke is high rpm happy engine....

this 09 R1 very very more race oriented bike bro....

in the future i think i will still see someone complain about the low end la...the heat la...classic problem for 04+ R1....

one factor that make 09 R1 interesting bike, is the firing order/crossplane crankshaft.....lets we see....:cool:

Yup and after a month or two, you'll sell off the bike and get another new bike from Mah Motors and if cannot export to Indonesia due to shipping problems, you'll sell it off yet again even before getting a chance to ride your brand new bike, right??? :cheeky:

i changed my stock damper to Ohlins... the bike controls is so much betta... :angel:

fuuuyoohh u got alot of cash arr bro.... btw wad magnificent difference in terms of aftermarket and oem?? i only know oem is restricted to one weight whreas aftermarket adjustable.

 

Btw guys, Blackdot selling bitubo GAS damper for $200 only. damn cheap. retail around $700++ that was 2 years back when i checked for my 954. servicing done at MEZZO...they have bitubo rebuilt kits :thumb:
