haha... just starting to learn on the simple things that can be done by oneself. must sometimes refrain from "asking" too much help from bikeshop.. $$ alot go to them last time, little error go bikeshop, so must budget a little, now economy bad.

actually DIY is much better la... i get to know more abt my bike, how to open them up, fix it back up etc...

BUT when it comes to coolant/tires and other big issues, have to of course bring to shop, bopian... no xperience in these things... :cheeky:

haha, actually would be best if i could go over yr there and u can guide me thru since yr level and exp are there.

but no worries lah, will try it out soon. :thumb:

yr closest frens/family shld/might have ammeter lying ard the house. its not one that is used quite often ard the house unless you r an electrician specilised in wiring... its the one with a red and black wire with a metal pin at each end.. the reading is very sensitive if its analog, the reading will read from left to right.

at 1st i dont know what an ammeter is until search the web on how looks like.. :cheeky:

actually, i use it not to get the readin but to find out if any electricl signal is passing thru from one end to the other end. as long as i get a reading, means the wires are not pinch, twisted or cut, the wires are working fine.. need to move on to other area...

Let's see whether the 2010 R1 version looks better or not. If not, I may just switch sides to a Gixxer...

i tell u Aie... 2011 R1 will be a best bet....will kill all of litre bike at that time....just wait for 2011 R1.....:p

Hmmm, i've heard some pple commenting that the R1 looks ugly.

But i think R1 Rider and fans would disagree. The new Headlight looks great. A Ball shaped lamp on its own.(Like my 999,lol)

I guess the exhaust is a bit bigger. But the Sound will be similiar to Rossi's M1.

THe new suzuki kinda looks strange. Hee.. i'm not a Suzuki Fan but I only like the K5 and K6.

Oh ya. I was at Borders reading abt the R1'09. The D'mode selected works totally different from the K7's A,B,C mode.

If i'm not wrong, and plus, a K7 rider told me that the 3 modes is like lowering ur power from 1000cc(A)750cc(B), 600©.

The magazine stated that unlike the Suzuki , the Yamaha's D-Mode Variable Map function will still give u the peak horsepower at any mode.

D mode for Standard and optimal perfomance.

A mode for sportier engine response in the low and mid rpm range.(Good for track use)

B mode for subtle throttle response, for a clumsy hand and good for heavy traffic or wet weather.

Its like having a power command and adjustable at the flick of ur thumb.

And its like 2 engines in 1. It feels like a twin at low mid range, and after that u feel the inline 4 kicking in its horsepower.

Haha i'm crazy abt this bike man....
