btw kneesliding and posture isn't everything, really. a track buddy of mine has about the same timing as me but he doesn't change his kneesliders as much as i do... i change almost after every trackday whilst his last for months. it's just a different style of riding, but doesn't mean a slower one.

The GSXR shud be one of the coolest bike among the 4 jap brands.. is there really a need to install another fan?

 

Bro, sorry if i mislead my question. Actually the 2nd fan is for my Gen1 Hayabusa. I got the 2nd hand fan of a Gixxer 600 '08 from eBay and need to buy the Aluminum Fan Blade from Muzzys but Muzzys email me that they have only fan blade for Gixxer 600 '05 latest. So now i'm here to find out whether Gixxer 600 '08 & Gixxer 600 '05 shares the same model of fan so that i can buy it. Hope i made this clearer for you guys to understand. :cheeky:

You can buy the muzzy's as well and put both on your busa bro... :cheeky:that shud be better than having put the aluminium fan

Yes bro.. i don't think you get me again. That's the thing i'm trying to do now. Original Gen1 Hayabusa only have 1 fan on the left side of the radiator. Now i'm have bought a 2nd hand Gixxer 600 '08 model whole fan to add to another side. "But".. i need to 'mod' the 2nd hand gixxer fan. How? Take out the existing fan blade from the Gixxer fan and install the Muzzys Aluminum fan blade to it. (Muzzys sell only the blade bro, not the whole fan). I have already install the Muzzys Aluminum fan blade in my existing Busa fan. So i'm doing the same for the gixxer's fan so i have 2 fan with muzzys fan blade. Clearer now?

 

The problem is i need to know is the GSXR-600 2005 fan model the same with GSXR-600 2008 fan model. Because Muzzys only have fan blade for GSXR-600 2005 model and mine is the 2008 model. Clearer again?

I passed by HL showroom last week but the 09 R1 is not on display yet. However, the 09 R6 is already on display at some bikeshops. One of it is at the bikeshop along the same stretch as Mak's Place. M1 Motoring, I think the bikeshop's name...:sweat:

i'm very clear... my reply was, that i'd just thought it was a hassle having to buy a fan, take out the blade and put in a another one... the issue is, nobody would have an answer to you question because we've not heard anyone else try it before. So ultimately its still back to the drawing board for you, meaning you have to RnD yourself. My best option for you is since you already have the 08 suzy fan, you'd just need to find a 04/05 fan to see if its the same. High chance you'd need to take it out to test,
