my riding style is probably very fuel consuming... im kiasi and always riding very slow and i dun corner much so if just before right turn the light turns amber i will just stop..

yes we have 1 very oooolllllllddddddddddddddddddddddd rider staying in the west .... he is know as the demonic oldtree ...... unless u have some powers to subdue him .... if not he can be very dangerously fast at times

previously used stock...the prob is not from e pipes (for me)

 

i got 'stunned/shock' when my skin (knee area) accidentally touched the metal frame on the side of bike while riding

 

Once i'm in Malacca, e traffic jam was unbearable (e traffic light timing stays at 99!!!!, then count down slowly) when back in SGP, i got burnt tighs...just like ahlex@sgbikes...

thats normal for 04 models and above .... the idea of dispersing heat fast from the engine is to maintain its power .... so riders will have to bear with the heat but in exchange for the power and the fun that u get in return

dun worry, i assure u my r1 looks worse than yours.. i left and right all fall b4 at pg:cheeky: anyway on 2nd may, i want to check all the 07/08 model, to see whether my fren's bike and mine have the same problem or its due to production fault... its hard to describe here so 2nd may will see if its true for 07/08 models.

so far only heard the k5 1ks have this problem. the other models never hear b4, anyway, there is gonna be a recall for k5 for frame inspection. hope this helps.

Currently I'm using Amsoil EO and Maxima Cool Aide. Temperature doesn't rise so fast and at cruising speed, maintain 75 to 86 degrees. Yup, Yamaha R1 is one hot, gorgeous bike...
