Hi guys,

 

I have a K2 1000. Bought it about 6 months ago. Need to do some check-ups and service the entire braking system. Anyone know any good workshop? Racewerks or HKL? Hoping to restore the bike back to proper condition so I need a workshop that will take me seriously and wanna help to make the bike tiptop. The shop I bought from simply keeps telling me as long as the wheels turn, can already lah... damn arseholes... Gave up on them. Now gotta find a proper workshop to call home.

The bike has an Ohlins rear suspension. Previous owner installed. Do I need to service it? How much does it cost to service it? Gotta do at a proper Ohlins specialist?

U can try autobay there is this one shop i fall in lOve servicing my bike mechanic rosli 02-45. I would recommend him cause he helped me few times with my bike problems compare him to other mech he will check throughly everything first than tell you what to change all but other mechanic b4 opening already assuming and psychoing to change this and that

for me i know racewerks ubi u dun need to worry cos they use proper tools, torque wrenches, etc to do ur bikes and they're very verse, but just a note, they aren't cheap. reliable and gd yes...cheap no. but as the saying goes, u get what u pay for. for the shop dahui is talking about, rs bikes centre in autobay, the mech is very well verse in bikes as well. quite honest fella, he will tell u about ur bike first and it's up to u what u wish do. for suspension servicing, not all shop can do. so far i know reliable is hkl, racewerks ubi, and bikelab. but bikelab dun like ohlins...haha. for ohlins servicing u can go to hkl or racewerks ubi. they both take parts from sporting...ohlins distributor. this is my opinion. but u shud go around and talk to the shops, ask them questions. read their behaviours and answers, then follow ur gut feel. for someone a particular bikeshop might be gold to them...for someone else it might be shyte.

Ok guy, sorry to disturb the thread. I just visit rain at cgh. Get to know that he buang jialat2 an he went for ops on his right leg to insert metal bar n rod. I alr inform uncle ben n tomolo after werk im paying him a visit. Ward 47 bed 33. Will update again later. Ride safely my gixxer mate.

sianz ah.. i tio camera @ TPE in between punggol n sengkang exit de chevron.. lucky i was not riding damn fast.. just feeling sumthing not right tonight, so approaching tat area i was riding 100-110 as down there is danger zone.. tat WRX nv on the blinker light stopping at chevron.. when i ride damn near then saw the 2 TP with speed cam.. now have to wait for 2 wks for the letter.. hopefully when they snap me is @ 100km/hr then can heng heng siam.. haiz

110 shud be ok, our speedo got error. not 100% accurate.
