Hi guys, got a few questions here.

Riding a k5 600.

What is the normal temperature of your bike while riding?

How long more can I still travel after the reserve fuel indicator lights up?

What the FC of the bike?

I'm riding a K9 600 and FC from full to reserve is about 220~230(km) bro. Bike's fitted with aftermarket endcan and BMC race filter. Rest is pretty much stock. 60% city 40% highway riding. Runs on 98 / 97 RON.

If one is throttle happy, then it'll be a different story... hehe :cheeky:

What's your setup bro? Just got the bike?

My GSXR750K7 FC is about 17km/l. 70% heavy city traffic and below 6krpm all the time. 6th gear cruising is below 90 degress C; at long traffic stop after riding slowly, can max 105. Using engine ice already.

Just took over the bike from a friend.

From what can see is a Leo vince pipe ( I am not sure how to differentiate between just the end can or thefull system. )

Not sure about other set up too.

Maybe if there is a meet up then other bro can teach me.

Btw I'm riding with the FI error. Iirc it's error 28.

Bike feels weak and can't really go faster than 140.

Mine is also around 90+ to below 105.

Not sure what coolant is inside my bike now but the temperature seems pretty normal so I think it's okay ba.

Do you all usually change gear below 6k rpm?

Feels like a bit waste since the bike can drag up to 15k rpm?

Last time while i was on super4 I usually change around 7-8k rpm.

Since friend, jusk ask. LV no full system for K7 and below.

Usually 4.5k already change. Else, more wear on clutch, gear, chain, sprocket, tyres and brakes. If go track, will be different story bah :)

hey any advice on getting haya.. fuel consumption and stuff..

If FC is at the back of your mind, busa is not suitable. Such power bikes are meant to be ridden fast and furious.

Yeah, very easy to break the law. Have to keep looking at speedo all the time. LV pipe is very loud above 6krpm, even with db killer. Easy to attract white ants' attention.

Don't think my friend knows. He just buy and ride, doesn't read the forum also.

Since there are no full system for k7 and below, I guess mine is just the end can only.

Wouldn't changing gear at too low rpm affect the performance and causes smoke?

Hi bro.. Im riding k8 750 and notice my bike is under power.. I tried changing w my friend k7 600 and we notice his k7 is more torquee.. When open my throttle feels like e power coming in is very slow.. And its very difficult for me reach 250kph even at 2nd link.. Any idea what is the problem?, isit somethin go to do w my FI settings?, if so which bike shop cn do this settings?.. And i also notice when i open my throttle it bounce back very slow compared to my friend bike.. Need help!!.

I noticed when engine is cold, I have the same slow throttle return. Throttle also very stiff. Confirmed not a throttle cable issue. When fully up to temp, become normal. Think need to dismantle the throttle body to clean. Have you solved the issue?

ok.. how about busa compared to cbr1000 or zx10 abs.. in terms of performance??

I guess u cant really compate busa to the other 2 la bro....for a start busA leads them by 300cc...secondly the cbr and zx are sportsbikes whereas busa is more of a sports tourer(correct me if im wrong). Hence, its built for different purpose...eg conpression, gear ratio etc erc

GSXR1000, CBR1000 and ZX10 are SuperBikes while Busa is Sports Tourer. All will never reach the limits of their performance in Singapore. Also, the rider will likely be the bottleneck in performance. On track, SBK will handle better while Busa will win on long straights. What are you looking for ito performance?

Was at a bikeshop who's a distributor of a renown exhaust maker...they told me

recently that from now on new systems launched into market won't be full systems anymore as LTA requires motorists to retain the original header and catalytic converter.... Anyone have heard of such guidelines being imposed?? Can share...

Oh abt the smoke thingy...dont think it affects 4 strokers as much as 2 strokes...no doubt there will be soot built up overtime but nothing to worry abt if u take ur ride up north and blast it away once in awhile

And the mid-pipe also. Only no LV headers.

Just add injector cleaner to fuel once awhile will do also.

Which i FI cleaners do you guys use? Any particular brand(s) to recommend?

STP black colour bottle. Cheap, good, use every 10kkm.

I want to go up north, but no gear and my bike has FI error.

Need to clear the fault first,

also first trip probably better have someone who is experience to bring me along :)

Bro FI=fault indicator or FI=fuel injection error code?

Iirc the error code is 28.

Secondary valve throttle actuator?

Not sure what it does but bike feels weak and pretty much can't go above 140km.

Can someone teach me how to get into dealer mode?

I don't know which cable to short

Noted bro. Tks ! It's the one that can be used even for cars rite? Also, gotta be used with a full tank of fuel..?

Yes, can use on both. For our tank, half bottle will do. But I usually just pour the whole thing in and fuel up more often.
