Ok la, i admit jeans are undeniably screwed-up choice for track. But it's my 1st familiarization ride over @ PG, can't I take a second choice and wait till I've decided to commit to track and improve my laps timing, before setting my mind on a decent piece of leather? Leathers can be loaned from friends etc. Your exhaust alone is equivalent to getting complete set of leathers, boots, gloves. Not a very good excuse to say "gears are expensive"

 

Personally, from the first time I went to track. Even though I was slow like a snail. Still clad in full leathers.

 

Proper gears are essential. It's just like making sure your bike doesn't dump oil all over the track or have stuff falling off when you're riding in the circuit. It's your responsibility.

lets stop this whining that he is not wearing full leather protection pruss leather boots pruss full length glooves.

he chose to spend his money on his exhaust rather than a leather suit, so be it.

its getting very irritating debating over such issues. if a person (eg me, myself and i) choose to go track in armor jacket and jeans rather than full suit, and somethings happens (*touch wood*), its my problem i don't think i would like you all to make so much noise saying "if wear full suit will blah blah blah"

i got myself a shinko at ahboy for $40(he quoted $48) & cranked it up..

same model - YTZ10S

apparently my friend riding an 04 has been using it for a yr liao w/o probs..

the original yuasa costs $160

Hehe... The price difference between Shinko & Yuasa alot huh. Lol
