im riding a CT, bought last november for 31.5k OTR without insurance (comes with side panniers, crashbars and mainstand). so far i never regretted buying this bike. the power is great, stable at high speeds, and has superb handling. the downside is it is pretty heavy, very bad fuel consumption (city use 14km/l) but i can live with that. to me this is a great bike to travel up NS highway. super comfort.

Power have been reduce quite a lot, same V4 engine. From VFR 1200cc (127 kW (170 hp) @ 10,000 rpm) to Crosstourer 1200cc (95 kW (127 hp) @ 7,750 rpm).

got some question for CT owner.. some time when warming up engine got a TAK loud sound... but very seldom lei.... wondering what is it...

Loois Motor now bringing in Crosstourer and CT-Explorer (With top box and side panniers). Currently in his showroom, only DCT models available. Didn't ask the price though.

 

I guess the only reason to buy the CrossTourer is for the DCT; The only USP for the bike. Other than that, there's nothing special luh.

 

Kerbweight@285kg for DCT and 313kg for DCT Explorer is too heavy for my 1.68m stature. Am looking for an auto bike that's easy to ride around in the city (Thanks in no part to our crap traffic jams)....

 

I find NC700X a bit too underpowered and when parked next to V-Strom 650 and CrossTourer, looks like a CBF150. LOL -> No road presence.

 

And I'll rather get the Aprilia Mana 850GT, which also has a dummy tank storage, yet with 75bhp, is able to top 220kph and has a fuel tank capacity of 18L. I've asked Mah Motor and they say they can bring in. But need to wait about 2-4 months to pass LTA's homologation tests.... LOL!!!!

Yup mostly in urban riding... If highway speeds i believe its able to do better...

The only gripe that i have about this iuke is its weight... Its damn heavy but once ur on the move u wont feel it at all....

I have a lowering kit for the cross tourer for sale. Bought for a friend but Kenna aeroplane by the joker. Letting go at $50. Bought at $75. Looks something like the picture attached. I dunno can fit or not. You need to get it fixed yourself. PM me to deal. Thanks
