Alex is not interested in repair work nowadays. Unfortunately he is too nice a guy to say no, so a lot of bikes ended up there sitting, a few of mine included. Can be friends with him, but to do bike repairs there, and expect any turnaround, be wary. Sad, but this is the direction that he is taking.

I waited for my rims since CNY and he still telling me it's in the container. hahaha!! Luckily I'm not in a rush. I was ever told from a friend that the workshop is actually his 'part time'. Eyeing on many of his old bikes and plates. hehehe!!!

Ya, like a hobby thing and to keep him occupied while he is in SG.

Me too eying his bike but everytime ask him he will say this one engine no gd, that one wiring problem...etc

Yup; the repair work is part-time. I think stretching it to say that the repair work still interest him. I'm more friends with him than customer, better relationship that way.

Bought the handle grip from PML, but the tech said they will not install for me coz it is not meant for F800R.

WTF, how can PML sell something and not willing to fix it?

haha, same same at Harley (HDS)... they consider this as "illegal" modification and will not want to take any responsibility for it.

Wtf, took time off and went to collect my bike at PML today, was told that they did not install my engine guard.

I have informed the parts uncle that I will install the guard during my servicing, and he noted-- but it seems like they don't talk to each other.

Have to go back again tmr to collect my bike, WTF.

 

May be I should try other workshop for normal servicing.

if under warranty period, best to do servicing from them for ease when claiming time.

Ok, my K1200LT's ABS lights are flashing alternately. Anyone can recommend a good BMW mechanic? The last time my K1200LT went in for oil change I found a tool in the fairing... had too many bad experience with PML, planning to use mechanic outside if someone can recommend. Don't think this is big issue, but I'd love to get the bike checked out.
