What is the main cause for the gs1200 shaft to break into half?

Honda NSR150SP: 2012-2015

Honda RVF NC35: 2015

Triumph Daytona 675: 2015-present

SYM GTS 200: 2016-present

hi guys... i would like to check how much does a brand new GSA1200 cost OTR? any price difference between PML/PI ?

 

Recently just asked pml... GS - abt 43 exclude insurance, GSA abt 46 exclude insurance. Come with all 3 cases.

Hi riders out there.. need some advice from all of you.. i got into accident in chiang mai, whereby the driver on the opposite direction had came into my lane. Bike was badly damage, now in bmw chiang mai.. my concern is repairs will take months and by the time completed, my temporary bike export permit would have expire. How do i go about on this without coming back here every month just to renew the permit. Called the sadao custom and got this as a solution. Anyone had encounter this before?? Thanks..

How about transporting the bike down back to Singapore/Malaysia and carry out the repairs ? Understand that it would cost more to transport the bike down south but i guess it would be a better option if money is not a concern here.

Many years back, my R1100GS broke down in Thailand and went back to collect it after 1 month, was fine 1000 baht by the Thai Custom in Sadao.

The officer don't care, just demanded for the payment.

Hope this experience of mine would help.

Do take note that currently there is a recall for all GS and GSA that were make from 2014 onwards for the fork issue so if you are getting a used GS, you better get an agent bike so the upgrade parts will be cover. If PI then you are on your own on this fork issue.
