Hi all,

I am new here, but it seem a lot useful information and knowledge that i could get from this forum regarding my hobby.

there are some information that I personally need regarding Honda Shadow, esecially 1997/1998 Honda shadow

I am intend to bough a really nice 1997/1998 Honda shadow, it's original paint was 2 tone colour, red and black..with 2 into 1 original muffler. Overall condition are really nice, all parts are original parts with low km. The owner said that this is the 750cc Honda shadow, but when I am trying to get additional refference from the net, i found that with the same exact paint, it was 400cc, but there also some said 750cc.

So is there any useful tip for me >>>> can we know which cc the honda shadow is from just looking physically from the bike, without the manual book, or the paper.

Sorry for my poor english, Thank You..!!!

If you are talking about a Singapore registered bike, go to one-motoring website and check for the road tax payable for the bike (by using the number plate). There will be information on the engine capacity of the bike.

Look at the speedometer gauge. The 750cc says the limit is 180 kph while the 400cc says 160 kph.

Thank for nice tips...so it will guarantee that if we saw the speedometer limit, it must be related to the cc of the bike...

any other useful tip that we can notice the difference between 400 and 750..?
