Driving Point for 2b newbie

hi, juz wanna check

 

i've have a class 3 license for more than 5 yrs(which mean i have 24 points)

however, if i juz gotten cls 2b license, how many point i have?

12 or 24?

13.. now all new license will have 13 pts regardless of how many points you have in you previous license..

 

but if your points is too low you will not be able to take the TP test at all

If you get more than 12(no matter whether offence is commited by you when riding or driving), your 2B will be revoked. You still get to keep your class 3(Left with 24-whatever demerit points u get).

now u got ur new 2b licence which is 12 pts. and ur class 3 with 24 pts. if u kanna 16 demerit pts now(touch wood), ur 2b will revoke and class 3 left 8 pts. so u still can drive, but cannot ride already.

if i ride bike got demerit point it will minus the "bike" demerit pts rite? likewise as car.. if i get pts for careless driving it will affect onli the class3 pts? am i rite to say so? or am i wrong?

nope. the DIPS demerit points are all combined under your record.

24 points is all you've got for all classes of licences combined.

hit that and say goodbye to all classes.

 

on the other hand, if you only hit 13 within 12 months, then only the new licence under probation goes.

u have 12 points. if u have 12 demerits, u can still ride.

 

pls understand the meaning of demerit.
