Anyone knows where I can repair my DRZ Stock Meter. My meter's condition right now is totally blank, but the orange backlight is still on. I dont know whether it can still be fixed or might have to buy a new/ used one. Any lobang to recommend?

Hi guys need some help... the speedo meter time lags really badly. Like when i set the time. ride my bike its ok. reach home park the bike. next morning the time is around the time i left my bike. is my speedo time like spoilt? or am i not setting it correctly? one more thing is it just me or is the oem horn sound really really soft? thanks

Jetting problem.. but you never say what carb you got.. whether its an FCR or stock Mikuni... so can help much.

 

The thing is that i have already send 4 times to diff shop to set my bike and the last shop i went to set my stock carb with jd jetting is not so bad. after a few mths when i suddenly speed all the way from tamp to sgh, my bike idling timing suddenly become faster. Hopefully its not the timing chain.

Timing chain issue will give you noise.. and never increase the idle rpm.

 

Idle rpm is governed by fuel/air mixture controls.

 

And the worst thing to do is to do carb settings at different shops.

 

Stay with one shop.. so they can adjust the jettings based on your feed back and they have a base data to work from.

Sound does not equate to performance.

 

Yoshimura is best for Suzuki in terms of performance and happen to sound good too. But its the price that is the killer.

'Stopper'? The thing that looks like a strainer? It's the spark arrester bro. If u remove it then u gotta answer if u r stopped by LTA then.

You talking about the screen mesh spark arrestor or the inside baffle plate? Both can be removed.. baffle plate just more work and cost involved.

 

I have one last set of Leo Vince X3 Carbon tip for sale... $900 for the full system. (endcan plus header).

Since we're on exhaust, any place to recommend where i can get Barrel 4's baffle? somehow the previous owner used a modded one on my bike..if i can dampen the sound it would be good...

Just got my mesh plate to restrict the airflow removed.

Sound a little louder and the performance is better.

Bike feels lighter when throttle and pickup improved.

Don't need the hose, only need the hose guide mounted at the fork...got lubang?

Bro a kind advice if you're thinking of getting one yourself. Guan hoe doesn't carry.

 

if you've seen the ori one you'll notice that they just guide the hose and don't really tie it down, i think. The other day i went and got myself a cable guide which turned out that it fits quite snugly around the hose. So tried rocking the front shocks to see if they are ok. they were fine then so i butt itchy and kiasi go and loosen the guide so that it loosens the 'grip' on the hose. Bad decision. NIghttime go ride at south buona vista that noticed that due to alot of dive at the front, the bloody guide sort of hooked the brake line and brought it out of the brake lines comfortable position. almost kinked the line, scared the **** out of me in case the line bursts under pressure..had to use my fingers and turn the M6 nuts with my bare fingers using gloves to release the guide off the brake line.

Oh yah..if no deal..anyone interested to buy a scorpion endcan for $200 got cert but no silencer..

You can try go to bike shop and ask them to order in the silencer or u can just make one.
