Just text him, he said need to order. $45 & wait ard 2weeks.

Im running with the race silencer(i think) theres no hollow rod. Just the silencer tip.

So i checked with MW for yoshi and was quoted,

Tri-cone 1700

Oval cone 1800

Any other place im missing out?

Any one can advise??

is the speedo accurate?? Cause when i shift gear from 4th to 5th around at 60~65km/hr, the engine not so smooth (Similar to change higher gear at low speed ) ..... While the rest of the gear change have no problem... If i hold at ard 65 km/hr, the engine have the same situation.

it is a braqnd new bike and have not run in yet....

I'm running 15/39, gear change to fifth happens after 70 kmh..anything lower than that i just feel the engine's sluggish trying to catch a breath...

Imo it doesnt matter what gearing ur on to change to fifth gear. Its all abt ur own preference. Im on 15/40 n usually change gear at ard 80kmh. Changing at 70 just doesnt feel right to me. =)

Around there. 70 IMO is the minimum. Like what Blacktide has said. It's feels better after 80kph. It all boils down to the "feel" when changing gears. The whole point of gears is so that the engine is running at the power band most of the time.

Just for your reference...

I race at Pasir Gudang with a stock sprocket set up.. ie 15 front and 41 rear.

I will pull 3rd gear to 110 KMH before upshifting to 4th gear. I will pull 4th gear up to 130 KMH before upshifting to 5th gear.

Shifting to 5th gear with stock gearing before 80 KMH is a waste of time.. expect engine bogging.

Hello, to lower idling timing, do i turn the knob clockwise or anticlockwise?

Either one side or the other bro. Turn abit then listen. Don't turn too much at once or else it just won't crank if it was turned in the wrong direction. Got this scare last time.

Anti-clockwise.

Do it 1/8 of a turn at a time. Ride for a while and see what happens..work from there.

Thanks guys!

Anyone on 15/39? Planning to make my drz an adventure-touring bike.

Me. As many have said, it's not the bike, it's the butt thats sitting on it. 15/39 IMHO is the best compromise between long distance and Sg riding.
