hi everybody ! i very interested of getting this bike . i wanna ask how much is the bike cost if i getting second hand ? how much roughly do i need to pay per month ? is this bike need a lot of maintaince compare to other 2b bikes ? how is the fuel consumtion like ? if i getting a second hand bike what things do i look for to ensure i get a problem free bike ?

My brothers of the varaderoeans...let me get the fabrication pricing clearer so that u guyz know how much u guyz will be forking out....

undercowl>>> Total price includes moulding, brackets and painting = $165...colour of the painting...your choice....

front fender>>> Total price juz for the first bike includes moulding, brackets and painting = $230....subsequent bikes is $160.....the reason why the very first bike is quite high price...becoz...they need to redimension the fender to our bike headlight dimensions....we haf to sacrifice one of our bikes to the shop for a few dayz...so that they can come out with the dimensions and the angle for the fender...they will be using the BMW fender....but they will make it shorter and smaller to suit our bike....

The price that is given to you....is more accurate estimation given by the mechanic....it can be lower or higher depending on the outcome of the mould....if theres any questions...do forward to me....

archie84 >> hi..greetings...me riding a used Vara and a newbie in this forum ...so does a few others too..has to agree with DaNiYal.."anything else is up to you.." importantly do a regular maintenance ..used or new,NO machine is trouble free bro... check out reviews and do plenty of leg work ..my few cents worth..Good Luck

Hey Archie84>> As Daniyal has pointed out a 2nd hand bike will be within the price range of 7-8k. By the way a brand new Varadero 125 cost around $11K. The earliest plate for this bike is an FU plate. But there is one FT plate lurking around out there. You monthly payments all depends on the cost of the bike and your downpayment. In terms of maintenance this bike is pretty much fuss free. Just the standard spark plugs and engine oil deal. As for the fuel consumption on average among our members they get anywhere from 27 to 30km per litre. Heh, poor Daniyal is pushing the lower end of this average but i think in time to come he will be coming up to speed. As for looking for a 'problem free' bike, it is best you ask the owner what he has done with the bike (engine wise) ,parts and mofifications. Ask how regular he/she services the bike, check the total mileage, ask about the fuel consumption, check for damages on the bike whether it has been involved in an accident (type of accident cosmetic or otherwise), age of bike (wear and tear, this coincides with the total mileage too).

byteblock: FIAMM horns are available at Mustafa for 17 plus I think. If u get it there make sure u check the package. Two horns and one relay. Not sure whether wires and connectors available or not?
