i disocvered it today..... at a traffic junction at ave 6 (reason we all wanted to ram and move as fast as possible.. is bec the next traffic light well 100 meters away.. will turn red... just as ur approaching it.. so if your faster u can pass it just before it turns red) anyways... got one old AZ RX-k... ramm.. lah.. noizy as hell.. totally kicked my ass man... i supposed bec of the 2 stroke..

this is the exact kit i mentioned before... upgrade the engine to a bigger cc... i read they will have to BORE a slightly bigger hole in the engine block.. to fit in the new 85cc piston to replace the 62.5cc piston...

 

as mentioned if boon siew can support this.. and LTA approved.. wont it be damm cool to do. and feel da power...

3 reasons why i cancel the order....

 

1. The uncle promise me one thing....but he gave me one thing....promise can do silkscreen printing...end up...transfer copy....

2. The sample he did...turn out very sucky!...both embroidery and the print....

3. I dun trust him....after some negotiations.....he cannot even meet the deadline he set....

juz wanna check any of u willing to swop ur speedo wif my n try out whether izzit still working. if my speedo works on ur bike, tt means there no prob wif the speedo, den might b the cable or sensor. as for these 2, dunno can swop n try anot cos very troublesome to take them out.......

I don't think that is a speed limiter.....

 

Speed limiters device or the term that i know of are only installed in heavy vehicles only....

 

Usually buses, trucks, trailers and etc have them. It depends on how fast it should go. 40kph, 50kph, 60kph.

 

What Speed Limiter does?

The speed limiter prevents a vehicle from going above a certain limit. For example a bus fitted with a speed limiter eg. 60kph cannot go above that speed or at most 5-10 kph.

 

Vehicles that want to be exempted from this (eg. tour coaches) need a letter of exemption from the authorities before they could take out the speed limiter device.

 

How i know this??

I used to type out the exemption letter for my boss to sign.

mine never reaches 130kph maybe on a downslope @12000rpm to the redzone.

ok if its just the speedo cable. does ur display unit show the temperature and mileage. mine does not show the speed or the temp or the distance. just the rpm.

 

yes m going to try and replace the display unit to test wat the crap is wrong with it. after may 5th ah. wats ur contact number my new number is 81392394

my rpm, temp and clcok are working. juz the speedo and milage not working. intention is to get a vara wif speedo working 1 and try on wif my speedo(which is considered 'spolit') anyway my contact 93682247

Al-Simonns...yes its true...SPEED LIMITER is a device to limit the speed as in restrict it to go faster...its also fix on buses...used to adjust it before during my days in SBS.....it just a few knobs a screws tuning at the fuel pump....

Put a cable tie at the near end ...so when the tube slip upwards...it will be block by the cable tie....it happen to me also.......

blown fuse i dont think so.

eh the cdi controls the inginition timing right. if that is blown i cannot ride /start my bike.

m not too sure on that CDI thingy. but i must be working since i can ride it.

YO babe are u talking about power cut. like when u go up to a certain speed there a device to stop the engine from engine harder to achive higher speed? like most of the class 2 bike ah.

 

maybe there is?Why? because in europe where the xlv125 was designed, to get a learner legal license the motorbike engine must not exceed 11kw of power and not exceed 125cc. which is the specs for the varadero 125. so maybe they restricted the output of the bike.
