Nong-nong ago when I used to ride my beloved Vara125...

 

My neighbour very RED EYE

Everytime see me with my bike will tell me:-

Eh, why u still ride this bike?

4 stroke very leceh, need to warm up etc

Ride the RXZ better, faster, 2 stroke, lighter

I endured his crap... tahan...

One day happened again and his wife was around

She said to me:

Dun listen to him lah, your bike very good,

At home he will always say he admire your bike very much

I'm lucky to have such a good bike, he always said to her..

I looked at him and then he just give me a f-ing smile like kena caught with pants down....

What a f-ing idiot... CB!

 

When I go out and park outside...

Uncles/PakCiks will come by and take a look at the accessories

the big boxes and tall windshield

They ask me engine size

Then laugh at me

"Why you buy this bike? Wah, V-twin many problem u know...

If spoil must throw away the whole engine, cannot ovehaul one..

Some more so slow the top speed, 100kph only right?"

Give me a look like I'm the stupidest guy they've ever met

So I ask them what bike they ride.

Of course RXZ or RXK lah, they say

Cheap and good, long-lasting, can "RACE" too

Not like this stupid excuse of a bike Vara 125

 

Fast forward a couple of years...

 

Today, you can see SOO many Uncles, PakCiks and others riding this bike

FT, FW, FX all have on the road,

The bike still heavy and slow, 100kph only,

V-twin cannot overhaul also,

Still have to warm up before you ride,

But them PakCik and Uncles ride their Vara125 proud like monkeys (I quote Dave Matthews)

After the bike become more affordable due to age,

Cannot tahan already must buy one and try,

After all, the cisco disco also ride the bike and look important what...

 

Moral of the story:

 

If you know you have something GOOD in your life,

Dont let anyone tell you otherwise.

If you can tahan these people's crap, then good for you,

If you cannot tahan then just CRAP ON THEIR FACE

Deep inside they also wish they had a VARA 125.

 

PS: I got nothing against RXZ/RXK or any other bikes. To each his own taste. I just hate it when people try to put others down to validate the choices they made.

 

 

Greetings all.. Naz AKA Daniyal and myself are back safely from Krabi.. Good ride, nice place, great company(of course there were hiccups along the way lar) Seriously if you get a chance to ride with the bugger do it! :thumb: Photos(very few) will be up soon..

 

Why quote Paradigm's post? Naz will quote me as saying during this ride.. "I could probably travel faster and in more comfort on my Vara than this thing(current DRZ SM) Don't get me wrong.. Both are great bikes but so far I would have to say that the Vara125 indeed is a do it anywhere, for as long as you can tahan, for how far you can whack.. :cheeky:

Yep.. My seat is actually modded by Eugene.. But the butt pinch is still quite bad.. Not wedgie at all..

Eh no lar.. You were a great buddy lar.. Serioulsy man.. :cheers: I enjoyed everything for the most part.. Oh yar! I bumped into erm.. The EuroR guy, his co-pilot and wife last night at Cafeela.. Sorry lar.. Not good with names.. Got my jump cable back.. :thumb:

 

GPS best lar.. If not we would have been highway all the way.. The kampung roads were the highlight of the trip! That and the food lar.. :thumb:
