Guys! I need to share this with the bros here!!

 

Accidental discovery to make the fz16 faster on expressways.

 

Changed rear tyre to 160/60/17. Basically a super4 tyre. I was hoping that the rear tyre would be fatter. It's looks nicer! Unfortunately becoz the the rims. The tyre didn't get very much fatter!

 

However!!!!!!!!!! - The 160/60/17 tyre is TALLER tan the stock 140/60/17. This made the cruising speed of the bike better on expressways. On 6k rpm. Speed is 85kmh now. As compared to the stock tyre which gave 80kmh. At 7.5

rpm. The speed is now 107kmh! For me, this made it easier to ride on the expressways.coz I didn't need to strain the engine to get 110! Previously, I did up to 8.5k rpm every day without fail....

 

Yay!!

 

The new tyre doesn't allow tge fz16 to go more than 8.25k rpm.... Estimated only la.

 

The engine brake reduced quite a bit however...............

 

The bigger, rather taller tyre gave a 'longer rev range'. This weakened the acceleration of the fz16. Your pick-up speed slower. But made it better on the expressways as it dropped the engine rpm when cruising at ard 105 to 110kmh.

I'm 25 this year and the insurance cost me $989.

Bike OTR 7.4K so total would be $8389.

Im looking for people who wants to Import KTM Duke 200cc with me, or any other motorbike from India, Pulsar NS200 included. The Pulsar NS200 must wait for launch and booking which might take 25 days in India to get the Pulsar NS200, does not include shipping time which might take another 25 days.

 

There is a potential to save 15%-40% OTR price in Singapore (for the Duke) according to my resources and research which I have been intensively doing. That % depends on how many people joining in venture. As for the Pulsar NS200, the % depends on how much the local dealers are selling.

I have just bought my bike. If i go HL, will i still get raincoat? And at this present moment is there any legal pipe? And by manual adjust the air intake and fuel, will it help in FC? Should i also change to K&N filter?
