hi to all fz16 riders. Im new to this website and not so sure where to post. pls advice. i bought my fz16 last week from as phoon.

ive started to realise that at start up my engine keeps stalling in neutral gear it takes about 4 starts after stalling for the bike to remain on.. And also when im going from 55-65 km in 5th gear,it starts becoming rough. Can i check with anyone if this is a problem or its only due to the running in period? your advise will be greatly appreciated. It is quite depressing to buy a 1st hand bike and have problems...

Maybe idling rpm is too low for cold start. Pull choke if necessary, if there is one...

How time flies...

 

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.

Is FZ16 the largest sized 2B roadbike available in S'pore? Can take super fat rider 140 kg, 1.85m ?
largest 2b bike should be phantom. Should have no problem in handling your weight and height for fz16

Hi just brought fz16st does anyone know where to install the rear box

And where is the best place for servicing ? Thanks

New fz16 you should go back to hong leong for 1st year servicing to maintain the warranty.

Rear box can be install at most motor shop. U need to decide which box u want. Cheapest might be at lab but need to wait at workshop for installation. U can scout around at motor shop like unquie or hlc for it

U should go back to hong leong to check as it still in warranty. Ensure u don't block the air intake at the air filter space with stuff or cloth. Should be idling rpm or fuel air mixture settings.
