Hi sorry bros , have an issue with my throttle , whenever i open throttle it will not revert back but it will be like stuck. My friend told me his FZ does not have this problem. I talk to one of the bike technician he told me throttle cable got problem need change for $40. Any bros experience this?

Yes throttle cable stuck. Maybe try spray lots of chain lube/wd40 into the cables first.

Before going on to changing the cable, did you install any aftermarket grips/bar ends?

Nope i did not install any aftermarket grips/bar ends , everything comes with it ...

Yeah did spray but after a period it will revert back to usual

Then change cables. Imagine the bike still accelerating although you close throttle. $40 is a small price to pay.

Hi bros, just bought 2nd hand fz fbh plate , i wanted to fix on yoshi pipe but i go motorworld they say my chassis no. For now cannot fix.. I wonder why, i see alot of fbh bikes also have yoshi pipe on but why mine cannot? 😢

See the chassis number. The yoshi pipe can only be registered for a fixed series of chassis numbers. If your chassis number is after the stated ones, then can't install. And if yours is the fz160 st (with fairing) can forget abt it.

I myself also not sure the market value, but I just bought mine 2 weeks ago from a direct owner. Price I bought is 7.3k. It's Jan 2013 original bike without any MOD or accessories.

Has anyone experienced the distinct smell of petrol while riding especially in a hot sunny weather?

I suspect that my tank's fuel cap is no longer air tight. Is it possible?

 

If so, what are my options to rectify this?

Thanks bro, I got mine from the Albert Motor. 8 years left 9k. I think shops will usually be more expensive. Not sure whether I got chop or not. Previous owner changed the throttle and grips.

there is kucay rack for fz16. damage is s$128 with installation. is real sturdy.

 

what i know is wingyap and unique motor has it

 

U can check with them if they still have stock

S$128 is only for the rack and installation am i right?

 

By the way.. What do you mean by "kucay rack"?

Go find out what's your fork diameter, check if can use from other bikes eg rxz, then go install at shop. Hehe

Hi guys,

Ive change my cdi to wy racing cdi bt engine indicator light when on after i fix the cdi..

Anyone knw why?

Engine indicator? Is it on while your engine is running and doesn't dim out?
