anyways yesterday on the highway and tongpang one of my friend both of us add up around 160kg running at 100kph still very smooth dont feel anything lol i love my irene ^^

Wah~ All suddenly so on ar? haha... Just now went to bukit batok area to buy FZ1N mirror from Bay(Fazer Thread). Wah, after changing to the mirror and pay 60$ for a 2nd hand quite new FZ1n mirror, I'm so happy now. ^___^! No vibration at all! It's time for mi to lelong my koso mirror liao. Anyway, FZ1N mirror fits nicely to FZ16 bracket. Dont need to buy any additional adaptor . But must change handlebar or add a bar end. Else the mirror is long then ur handlebar haha! Wait for pay day, then i will revamp my handlebar+barend+grip.

Hey guys, im not riding a FZ16 but i've been following this thread since page 1 cuz im somehow interested in purchasing tis bike... Currently riding RXZ for myself... Somehow, i feel that FZ16 milage is not as good as i thought in the first place... Average FC i've seen is somehow 36km/L for FZ16??? Thought of changing to tis bike but my rxz FC is 37km/L.. How funny is that when a 2 stroker bike has better milage than a 4 stroker bike... hahaha...!!! but in terms of power, does it have good pickup and speed like 2 stroke bikes?? Any previous 2 strokers out there that have change to FZ16?? Share ur opinion...

Bro, U cant compare just like that. Base on the FC, some ppl might get 36, some might get 40. It's base on riding style and weight of yourself of cos. I doubt a 4 stroke bike can have a better pick up than a 2 stroke bike. If u wan power/ speed, i think u are looking for the wrong bike. Maybe u can consider R15 bro. I can say that FZ16 is not a good bike for racing or for fast pick up or to obtain high speed, but no doubt, it is a good touring bike

I'm not sure about pick up man... Seriously i've yet to finish my run-in, so cannot test the picking up with high rev. Maybe other bros can give u more info. But i believe the pick up will be good enough ba.. compare to my old daelim bike lol.. But if the run-in is done properly, it will come out with a pleasant result, maybe good pick up and good top also.

hey bro.. i have gone for my run in aready and goin to hit 3k soon for 2nd run in.. ya the bike fc is around 36-38 per litre, i usually pump v-power at jb so not sure if local petrol will give any difference.. and the max speed mind reached was 121km/h..and according to forum our fz16 digital meter declines abt by 5-10km/h if im not wrong..so it could be travelling at 130.. and for me i think the pick up is gd..coz this bike has high torque compared to my friends KR, SP racing bikes which i have tried b4...

Hey bro... In that case... Just go for fz150i. I'm riding both this bike and that. So I'd say I can give an unbiased opinion. The pick up for this bike isn't too bad partly cos it's very light. Although it looks bigger than the fz150i, the fz150i is very much heavier. Could be due to use of more plastics than metal for this bike.

 

FC for this bike is surprisingly not so good I feel. But maybe gotta play with carb settings. Cos the other FZ can go till up to 500km on 10litres. I've tried it. But this one has reserve fuel. But same tank. Both total of 12litres. 2 for reserve

 

One main difference is of cos fuel injector versus carb. Up to individual but since you were a 2 stroker before, I've a feeling you might wanna play with carb settings. But anyway happy shopping bro. Now COE still very ex. Buying 1st hand may be quite sian
