HELP! :( My Throttle jam.. could it b the cable snap?

Hello everyone.. i nid some help here as my X1R throttle jam.. i believe it might b the cable snap? I went to Sin boon motor located at admiralty, they quote me $40+ for fixing it.. can i ask help from those experience rider as in how much would it cost to fix this problem? Thank u all so much!!

If it were to be snapped, there wont be any kick back when you pull the throttle. My guess is its stuck. If the bike shop you mentioned is to your convenience, then $40+ wouldn't hurt that much unless you know how to fix it yourself.

No problem bro. If the shop sells and installs for you genuine/original parts and not cheap local ones, it should be smooth as before.

but be careful of that bike shop, the boss has poor attitude

Fried Rice : LOL! really? u live around admiralty? The boss is the old uncle rite? I asked him on the price if were to fix.. he quoted $40+ But i could sense tt he is lying.. but too bad i dun noe the price also but shuld b rather cheap:)

keep us updated as im keen to know the price aswell. think your throttle housing worn out, causing it to get it to get stuck, just a hunch.

Well, since you did push your bike meaning it's close to your home and you got no complaints about anything wrong after installation. I guess it should be ok. Just remember, sometimes we don't have a choice but to get chopped. It's part and parcel of owning a bike.
