Hi bros, I need advise from experienced riders here..

I met with an accident while on my way to take my 2a yesterday in front of cdc, and the cost of repairing my Gilera back to its original states its just too expensive due to the parts and maintenances -.-" I can afford it but Its killing me slowly and I decided to sell it off asap and get a 2nd hand GXR400 or Kawa Kr250 instead when i get my 2a.

Questions:

- Is it possible to sell it off the current status it is? If yes, how do I go about it? Or do I have to fix it back first.

- Can I trade in my Gilera to a bikeshop for the GXR400 with extra down payments? Cus I dont intend to go back to the shop where I bought my Gilera.

- Possible to bring all the stock parts to the workshop and get the aftermarket ones out? I wish to sell it to earn some bucks.

- Lastly, for ppl who rides GXR400/KR250, is the maintenance/fixing cheaper? I dont wish to pay and pay more again.

Any further advises please post it im in a total loss right now zz. ~God Bless~

wow, complex problem.

right, let's get started.

yes, you can sell your gilera in its current state, but don't expect a easy sale. people know its in accident, will negotiate lower. and the price you sell it might not be enough to cover downpayment for the new bike you getting.

trade in to shop, they will nego even lower, cause the shops are experience dealers in bikes and stuff, but worth a try to check on the market rate.

yeah, you can bring the parts to workshop for them to swap it out, but will require labour charge.

honestly speaking, if i were you, i would try and get the bike back to "rideable" condition. can be ridden but outlook maybe lose a bit. then possibly i'll have an easier time selling the bike. you can also help your sale by listing out all the aftermarket parts added to it and etc.

set yourself a base price for the gilera, if no offers reach that, time to reassess your situation and what you can do.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)
