anyone know where to buy some cheap tachometer for adjusting engine idle speed?

 

i am riding yamaha spark 135.

Bought your tachometer yet? Good if you have not done so because I don't think changing the tachometer will solve your engine idle issue (unless your current tachometer isn't working, of course). Normally a tachometer is use to indicate your engine revolution (rpm) only.

 

Instead, you should adjust the Throttle Stop Control Knob on your carburettor. On the nsr SP, it's a yellow knob on the right side of the carburettor (when sitting on bike). Note it is NOT the air screw, it's next to it. Best check your bike's service manual.

Bikes with no tach are tuned by ear, as for cheap meters there is LAB or for a more fun solution. Sometimes shops like planet can give you free meters.

 

Doing the wiring to install the meter is a different matter. Also, some don't work due to compatability / voltage difference reasons.
