by right not legal... Its only up to TP or ROV whether they wan summon u...I personally asked a LTA vehicle engineer before similar qn regarding molding a single seater ..

If u dun mind the hassle and fines , by all mean go ahead .. anyway the fines are also not that ex with regards to this mod unless u have other illegal stuff eg exhuast etc..

hm.. okay .. thanks

Simbong bro, one glance at the picture, I'd have thought it was a busa or gixer. And it gives me the impression that the rider is a Honkong Triad leader... hehe...

Anyway, back to ur initial question; I've been told that once u modify any original parts on a bike, u risk kena illegal modification. Crap right...?

And i think ur headlights are one of them... Think u don't have high beam...

Anyway, I've also bought a race fairing for my bike.. can't wait to put them on my Garbrielle and tear down the back straight of PG... wuuhuuu...

Keep the rubber side down'

Any modifications made to the motorcycle that was not mentioned or included in the bike manual or manufacturer's specifications is considered illegal.

Meaning, even crash bars on your bike are illegal. Its seriously up to those people who summon you or inspection. If those follow straight by book, then its illegal.

But that's kinda a bit vague.

Coz if wanna follow bike manual, my Suzuki manual states my bike states aftermarket accessories can be fitted to the bike as long as it does not affect the safety and stability of the bike.

Kinda vague right, if ROV wanna follow "by the book"?

I can fit a steering damper, full sideboxes, rear box, huge engine guards and its not illegal as long as I can prove what the manual states, which is not affecting safety & stability of the bike...

Aftermarket would have to go through and see case by case basis. But based on Manufacturer's Specification, was the bike suppose to come with that part or was the bike designed to allow that part to be fitted on. If no, means its considered "not in the book". :cheeky:
