FZ16 or Varadero 125?

if finance is not an issue, go for the varadero.

on the other hand, the fz16 is considered very good for its price.

I wld humbly suggest FZ16 ... Caveat Emptor is "Let the Buyer Beware" in Latin . Doesnt got to do with ya question ...

i bought a second hand vara, otr 6k...10 year old bike (renewed another 10 years COE)..

 

What i like

tank is about 17.7L.. can last until 495km

Big bike (very big)

Stable (weigh about 148kg?)

4 stroke 125cc - can easily go up to 125km/hr for my bike.. compared speed side by side to a busa, my 125km/h is busa 120km/h (enuf for me)

easy maintainance - quite hardy as it can be brought for touring.

Plenty of accessories to choose from - can put so many boxes and it wont look like a overloaded donkey =P

 

What i dont like

Only 5 gears?can do better with one more gear

needs 2bottle of engine oil (but its a v-twin engine!)

abit underpowered when upslope, requires two tapdowns (but will get used to it)

Expensive ride to purchase ( i must admit)

 

well.. above are my personal opinions on the bike that i am riding now. Have not tried a fz16. But both bike looks good... well.. hope it helps. CHeers!
