Holla to all... I'm new to a bb and from the thread, notice that there are some designs for a helmet. If all of you do not mind, (maybe most if not all haf heard of this), there is a person in JB who can do airbrush (payment in RM). I have seen the quality of the product and to my point of view, it is good.

 

Do a person has to be part of the SBF - Backbird Owners then they can have the opportunity to join the group???#

wah bro. so formal.. we dont really have a official group. its more of fellow blackbird riders getting together and TCSS. designs are just done cos I wanna play around with some graphic design. cos i havent done design work for quite a while already.

 

as for the emblem... previously i done it for myself, and posted to see if there's some interest, and apparently there is.. so i continued with it.

 

anyway, come join us this Friday evening!

 

btw, there's a blackbird at Punggol Edgefield Plains.. who does it belongs too?

this group is free and easy for all riders, of cos if u r riding a BB is a plus point. all of us just have the passion to ride.

 

I believe we riders, will like to join a group that clicks well and enjoy all the meet ups and riding together than to commit to a group that we dun clicks well or understand one another:)

I'm fine with both venue... But KFC might draw a bit more of attention if a big group of bird come together. Then the white and the green ones will stand out further! Lolx!

The last time at Simpang Bedok, i dropped by at almost 2am on a Busa, the bird riders look at me like a Alien like that. Bro Sujak say will wait till 3am but he ended up going home early and Pengyu never goo too. lolx!

I did not copy down my values, but if u have a measuring tape, you can take the measurments on my bike and re-adjust from there to suit ur preference riding style. With regards to the adjustable preload forkcaps off a VFR, I myself have not tried that yet, so i got no comments. Maybe u can be the first to experiment it out. There is another way of modifying the internal catridge too, by drilling a tiny hole inside (it will affect the oil flow). Don't ask me how, all these were done by Meng Tong. I simply complain and whinn at him and he did the rest of the setup for me after every track session. Lolx.

 

I think the front fork brace that U post will really help. The front forks of the birds are indeed really flexing/wobbling under high speed and hard braking into a tight corner. The feeling really sucks after when i release the front brakes and the forks flex back into its original place. Thanks for sharing this product.

 

The fellow who did that detail write up is really a pro in action, and a extreme one. Using a .95 rate front springs with 5wt fork oil ... He's fierce!!! I'm using 15wt by the way.

 

My current setup is hyperpro springs front and rear shock/springs. Front oil wt is 7.5..Currently my font fork sag is 53mm...need to get it to 35mm...no problem for the rear as the preload can be adjusted. Thats why i'm thinking of installing preload caps from VFR's.

How much oil do u have in per forks? 500 ml in each fork will not work on aftermarket springs. I running on 550ml wt15 Ohlins fork oil (its too harsh for normal day riding) and Ohlins springs. Hyper-pro springs works on the same concept like the original BB springs. Its progressive, as in it has got smaller coils at the bottom and bigger coils on the top, enabling the fork to absorb minor uneven ground shocks, thus giving u a better comfy ride. But it's definetly much stiffer than the original ones. I had the same setup like u on my the other Busa, and I think u make the perfect choice since u tour so often. Hyper-pro is much affordable, high level of performance, and yet the comfort is still there.

 

Traction dynamics is a killer lar bro. Luckily Joshua never ask u change Penske... lolx! That one will tear a big lobang in ur pocket... Someone has actually tried using VFRs parts for the front before, according to MengTong, but no one knows wat's the outcome of it. This is a really interesting experiment.

bro im staying at times at punggol...but im at edgedale plains....black bb...there's another brudder who riding black bb but carb model...he always park near the rubbish chute....dunno u saw wich 1...

 

few bb staying in punggol but dunno if they from here lah....
