Ur coil is meant for which model?

If the coils is for latest model,it will give high current input.Y not try suzuki rec.

Hmm... coil should be stock honda BB....

i dun tink prev owner did anyting funni as the bike was always serviced at the same bike shop...

now praying hard for my Regulator to work..lol $130 .... haiz

Thanx Snail Kelabu!! I tried opening up the radiator cap & run the engine. Top up a lil bit of water at the reservoir as it seems dry & left the reservoir cap open. When the engine & radiator is hot, radiator water flows out from the reservoir quite alot (this is with the radiator cap closed). So I top up the radiator wiz radiator + water fully and close both the radiator & it reservior cap. Run the engine again till hot and nothing seem to happen. Didnt ride the bike till yesterday. And the rest is like i've mentioned above.... btw any idea normally how long can the radiator hoses last?

U can test by pressing the hose,if it gives u a crunchy sound den it is time to change it.Best if u can change all the hose, saves u the trouble if u normally ride up to Mehsia. These hoses are BB's veins, hose burst....dats it....Tow truck ah jawabnye.

Yup true....

I change my BB hoses on day 1 i purchase the bike...

wanted SAMCO but waiitng too long...

NEX is rubbish so forget it...

i went for stock hoses & they are still running fine...

mine is a happy cool bird...lol

Cheap & practical...

Is it wise to delink the CBS system in order to install Hell brake line? Currently with the CBS I rarely used my foot brake.

ooooooo.....

Taboo qns...lol

Well each to his own mate...

there are ppl who die die support delink & vice versa...

flip back a few pages to find out more info...

Just to note...

if u delink do get a fork brace for your bird....

Mine is a delink bird (CBS dun suit my style) but my way of runining the hoses are abit werid though...

but it brake & bite hard...lol

Hel or starlaneor star sumting hoses at UM ha...?

Try asking Sporting Motor Meng Tong...

He can advise u as mine was touch up by him...

Oh ok! Actually I find CBS is fine for me as I seldom use my rear brake. Dunno why...bad habit I guess. Does changing the disk brake to those wavy disks brake help brake better?

6pot still no eat...?

My setup...

Front aftermarket disc rotors (Wavey)

Rear aftermarket disc rotors (Wavey)

RCS19 Brembo Masterpump

Hel Hoses F&R

Using goldfren HH pad (kinda sucky...lol)

Front Billet fork brace

Stock fork spring with sae15 oil

Well Previous running on only front 4 pots & rear 1 pot... (2 hoses in front 1 hose behind)

after that I "link" up the front hoses using additional 4 hoses front & 1 hose rear & walau...

now running 6 pots front & 2 pots rear & it cheaper than buying the delink kit fr Um..lol

Why a fork brace is because.....

CBS when applied bring the whole bike "down" gradually...

delink will make the whole bike behave like a super bike front down more than rear....

our front fork are not meant for that kind of behaviour due to the fact that there is no inter connecting rods in between the fork....

That is what I was advised....

I only belive in results...

adding the front fork brace improve the handling of the bike

Stock pump is only using 12.7mm bore something like tat due to CBS...

an upgrade is necesssary if delink...

either any after market pump with a bigger bore stroke or any stock pump at least 16mm

of course a stock pump upgrade is cheaper (i have a CBR1000 04 -07 stock pump 16mm if u keen do pm me)

Any place to recommend coolant hose?those bought b4 how much?

I brought mine wif install & toyota coolant ard $200...

Try Republic Motor or get the stock hoses from FJT & visit yr fav mechanic...

ah ha. thank you for your kind insight. True, i am running on 6 pot front and its shitty cos i am using stock pump... so next to go is the brake master cylinders.. cause when i tested the birdie it was on brembos... so it felt like power... but then now revert to stock felt like i am squeezing on a sponge. haha...

As for the front fork part i feel that its quite ok for me leh.. Maybe is it because i am using ohlins front springs?

and oh, i hear as bbird ages, our fuel hoses and radiator hoses are the first to go? So, i know those spares can be purchased at FJT, but care to input the prices?

1) 1 set of radiator hoses.

2) 1 set fuel line hoses.

3) other knows issue with bbird that is the first to go (i.e parts)

Cool! Any bike shop that you can recommend? I think one the front disk is dented. How much does it cost?

OEM rear disc cost abt 240,front rotors not too sure but definately ex.

WOW!...240?...Aiya!!mine gonna finish soon...

Yup.....

Stock Rotors are darn ex...

Ugly or plain in look but they do last long & bite & chances of disc warpping or dented on uneven wear .....kinda low or it gona take a very long time hence the pricing I believe...

Well there always Galfer, EBC or those China made disc...

U may think the MIC disc are unsafe but trust me...

now everything all MIC .... So I take a MIC product i chop a reputable brand on it & wow... I earn big bucks....

So y pay so much more when u can get it a a low price.... right??

I got them from Republic Motor at these cost

$470 full set F&R Wavey Rotor aka Galfer lookalike

$400 Front Wavey Rotors only aka Galfer lookalike (a Pair)

$95 Rear Wavey Rotor only aka Galfer lookalike

Prices are with installation....

A set (F&R) of Branded Rotors will set U back ard $750 to $900 depending on brand

Direct ship in from Ebay is slightly cheaper ard $650-$750 oso depending on brand

Most impt they must bite & brake & won't warp & wont F U up big time...

I rode up to Hat Yai solo with a set of MIC rotors... (been having them since day 1)

I was very skeptical but

So far nv fail me b4....lol esp during sticky situation....

Mayb i not speedfreak enuf for them to fail but I do travel fast though...haha

Wow like tat pricing almost there wif galfer.... So an excuse to change to galfer if the disc really gone

Haha... Bro U are in here also...

Welcome to the flock of birds....lol

ah ha. thank you for your kind insight. Our fork spring & system are pretty good enuf....

Upgrade to ohlins spring if have the extra cash would be good but so far they are good with me...lol

but will change them oso lah wait till i done with the rest of the bling bling 1st...lol

A full set of hoses should set u back below $180 can't reari remember the pricing...

Standby reticificer aka regulator, Stator Coil aka Magentic Coil, Get your hand on a scrapped BB wire harness is good...

I more concern abt the electrical stuff than the hardware stuff...

wah...any lobangs for fork braces? :D

Yup just install mine below $100 confirm can get...

our fork are similar to the S4 series...lol

Hunt them down at LAB

So far nt yet tested them high speed as aft install my coil & rectificer went gaga...

been in bikeshop since...

Drop me a pm if u keen to know hw they perform... but the materail is ok made of billet aluminium which most braces are nwadays... think should be from Thailand...

LAB nw wana target big bikes so they give pretty gd price for CL2 bike accessories...

Go LAB nt Regina for the best prices...

I believe all should know that ba...lol

FJT - 6392 5928

Eversuccess - 6292 5909

100% CONFIRM!!!!!

FJT is cheaper & in times way cheaper than Chong Aik, Eversuccess coz I brought quite a few stuff from them liao....

Personal Point of View: As long things are cheap aka affordable, reasonable priced & they solve the problem... They are worth buying.... Cheers!!!

Carb dun use much electric unlike Fi,current load for carb is way lesser than Fi.I suspect ex owner put Fi coil and rec.Fi coil and carb rec dun mixed, high chance of blow out.If FI coil and Fi rec on carb also no good coz where the excess current will go?...no choice go to rectifier lor, that y u got early rec retirement....but i tink if u use carb coil and fi reg, shudnt be any issue....most important is the coil...and also rectifier la.
